MemberHi Shawn,
I’m really sorry to hear Event Tickets Plus isn’t the right fit for your site — but, hey, that’s what our refund policy is for. 🙂
I’ve gone ahead and issued a refund for your orders and the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.
Cheers and have a great day! I hope you’ll keep us in mind for other projects down the road.

MemberHy John,
So glad to hear this was resolved, though I’m really sorry to hear about the fatal in the first place.
It’s tough to tell exactly why the error happened, but there is a shared common library between The Events Calendar and Event Tickets and it’s possible–based on the error text you posted–that the common library was not fully updated in one or the other. I don’t think it had anything to do with your process here, but it appears something was not fully loaded during installation.
In either case, I am really happy to hear everything is back in working order!
Cheers,

MemberHey Michael,
Great question, though I’m afraid that our plugins aren’t suited for booking appointments or time slots.
You could use our free Event Tickets plugin to make RSVPs for events, which would allow someone to register for an event. Similarly, you could upgrade to Event Tickets Plus to create paid tickets to sell for your events.
However, a true booking system might be better suited for another plugin. Booking Calendar looks like a solid alternative to consider, though I have not used it personally.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberThanks for the detailed info, Abby! We’ll get to the bottom of this — I’m determined!
I fixed on Dec 8 – the day you released 4.3.4
Dec 20 – you released a new version 4.3.5. The next day the info stopped saving
If I’m understanding correctly here, Version 4.3.4 fixed the issue. Then, you updated to 4.3.5 and it stopped working. Is that correct?
If so, what happens if you revert back to Version 4.3.4? Do things start working again?
If the orders do work when you revert, then that’s a starting point! That will tell us that there is something we can look for between 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 and even in our latest release that may have re-introduced the issue. Of course, it doesn’t yet allow us to replicate the issue ourselves and properly diagnose it, but it would be enough for our team to at least dig into it what changes we had made and make recommendations from there.
Let’s give that a try and see what we get. You can snag the earlier versions by logging into your account on this site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
Thanks so much for working with me on this!

MemberHey Carlos, thanks for following up!
Ah man, sorry to hear Category Colors won’t do the trick — I was really hoping it would.
I’m afraid that’s the closest we can get to pulling in Google Calendar’s category colors. In other words, there is no data in import that is telling us what category or color to assign to an event, but we can select a default category to use on import and use the Category Colors plugin to assign colors to those defaults.
Sorry for the bad news — did you have any other questions about category imports I can help answer? Let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,

MemberHi Kim, thanks for following up!
Definitely keep us posted on events not displaying the widget and in the event list — that is something we’d love to see in action, if possible.
2- I am not actually using the mini-calendar but the events widget (within the Theme Fusion builder) and selecting which category of events I want to show.
I can’t speak directly to how Theme Fusion has customized our plugins, but either of the methods I shared should do the trick, whether it’s modifying the template file or adding the CSS to the theme’s stylesheet. Those are the two most straightforward ways I can think of, but let me know if I can clarify any of the instructions I posted in my last reply and I’d be happy to. 🙂
3 – Here is a link to how it is set up now. As yocan see the event image is really messing this page up
If you could write something to show these upcoming classes with out that image I think the page would look much nicer. This CSS will remove the image:
.fusion-events-thumbnail { display: none; }However, I think you might be more interested in removing the entire sidebar and that is something Avada has added as a customization to the event page layout. To be honest, I am probably not the best person to advise on how to revert customizations from the theme developer and I would suggest reaching out to them for more guidance, but you should be able to locate the customized template in the theme folder at: /tribe-events/single-event.php and make changes from there to remove the sidebar. I want to be super sensitive about my recommendation though because I’m not familiar with the exact code used to customize the template, but Theme Fusion would be much more able to navigate through it with solid recommendations.
Cheers!

MemberHi Abby, thanks for following up!
Upgrading to 4.3.4 seemed to fix it for a couple days, but then it broke again.
That seems to be a patten: updating fixes it, but then you notice it doesn’t work.
That’s especially odd because it seems to suggest that the plugin fixes something, but then something else interferes that throws it off specifically on your site.
Are there any other site or server updates that you can pinpoint happening at or around the same time you notice that the problem re-occurs that might help explain things? Again, the reason I want to figure this out is to make sure we both have a solid understanding of what the source of the issue is so that (1) I can replicate and confirm it on my end and (2) I can properly ticket this in our system so that our developers can more solidly patch it up, if there’s something in the plugin that is causing it.
The idea of something getting corrupted is interesting. What happens if you re-install the plugins with fresh versions downloaded from this site? Does the issue temporarily resolve but then start back up? That would be a useful thing to check and know.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Andrew and thanks for following up!
The new version (4.4) just released yesterday, so so that’s why I’m suggesting trying to revert to 4.3.5. My hunch is that the custom Avada templates are incompatible with the latest plugin version, so let’s try that as a first course of action and try alternate routes if that does not do the trick.
Let me know when you’ve reverted to The Events Calendar 4.3.5 and Events Calendar PRO 4.3.4, then paste your updated system information for me (from the Events > Help screen) and we can go from there. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHi Dom,
Thanks for getting in touch!
We’d be happy to help — but I do want to note that our pre-sales forum is used to answer questions about purchasing our premium plugins.
If you’re looking for technical support, it would be awesome if you could post your question to our <u>WordPress.org support forum</u>.
Or, if you already have an active license for one of premium plugins, will you please log into your account and post your topic to our premium support forum instead?
In the meantime, it is indeed possible to export event data using the Tools > Export feature in WordPress.
Thanks so much!

In the meantime, one idea you might want to consider is using get_taxonomies() to output the event categories:

MemberRight on! I’m so glad to hear everything is working smoothly and I appreciate you following up to let us know. 🙂
The reason turning that setting off works is because having it on adds extra compression to the plugin files, which then reformats things and creates conflicts like the one you described.
Definitely keep us posted if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. I’ll go ahead and close this thread in the meantime since you had marked it resolved.
Cheers!
