    I am currently using Event Calendar Pro and am wondering if plug in will do put up a resource (in this case a conference room) and allow my employees to book reservation time slots. If so, please show me how to set this up and if I have 2 conference rooms, how can I set this up as well.

    Hey Michael,

    Great question, though I’m afraid that our plugins aren’t suited for booking appointments or time slots.

    You could use our free Event Tickets plugin to make RSVPs for events, which would allow someone to register for an event. Similarly, you could upgrade to Event Tickets Plus to create paid tickets to sell for your events.

    However, a true booking system might be better suited for another plugin. Booking Calendar looks like a solid alternative to consider, though I have not used it personally.

    Yes, it does thank you! I actually use both your Event Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus on my site http://www.exceedrealtyevents.com.

    May I suggest a function? I would like to be able to send reminders to my event attendees of the event taking place. Do you / will you have this function included later on? These two plugins are exceptional but it would be SUPERB if you added this function in.

    So glad to hear my last reply helped — thanks for following up to let me know. 🙂

    Oh yes, we are defintely looking into adding a host of communication-related features in future releases. In fact you can add your vote to the open feature request for it and that will subscribe you to updates on the feature:

    I have no idea when we’ll start work on it or when it would be released, but I do know that feature is part of active conversations as we discuss our long-term roadmap. As you can see, it ‘s a popular request and we know how awesome and important it would be to make that functionality available.
