    Hi there,

    My website has completely crashed. I followed install instructions and as I came to activate the WordPress.org plugin, this is the error I’m getting:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function tribe_singleton() in /home/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/event-tickets-plus.php on line 93

    This has rendered my website and WordPress admin panel completely unusable. I have scoured all forums and can’t see a clear answer.

    Urgent assistance is appreciated.

    I resolved this by logging into C Panel and restoring a back-up from a few days ago (Oh well…). I then deleted the Events Tickets Plus install (which failed and then I did another restore). Finally I rolled back to an stable enough version and it stuck.

    It sucked that is happened, but I was able to repeat the original steps I took and it stuck this time. The only thing I did differently was to update Event Tickets (free) before installing pro.

    I’d still be interested to hear from Modern Tribe why this might have happened in case this happens to another user in the future.

    Hy John,

    So glad to hear this was resolved, though I’m really sorry to hear about the fatal in the first place.

    It’s tough to tell exactly why the error happened, but there is a shared common library between The Events Calendar and Event Tickets and it’s possible–based on the error text you posted–that the common library was not fully updated in one or the other. I don’t think it had anything to do with your process here, but it appears something was not fully loaded during installation.

    In either case, I am really happy to hear everything is back in working order!
