May 6, 2015 at 7:17 am in reply to: How to change event ticket relationship after turning off recurrence? #960786
Geoff
MemberHey Rob, nice to see you again!
Thanks for the screenshot here–that helps a lot. ๐
Recurring events, once split, will continue to be linked to the same ticket they had when they were part of the recurring series. If you want to link up a new ticket, you’ll need to remove the Friday ticket from the Saturday event and create a new Saturday ticket right there in the post editor.
Does this make sense? Let me know if you have any follow-up questions here and I’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

MemberHi Rob,
That’s certainly odd that using the resend ticket option from the WooCommerce order would work in some cases but not in others.
Is it that some orders do not send any tickets at all to anyone, no matter how how many times you try resending tickets? Or is it that some people are not receiving the tickets on an order but other people are?
Thanks!
GeoffGeoff
MemberThat would go in the query of your search results template.

MemberHi there, Rob!
Thanks for reaching out. Good question–emails could get held up for a number of reasons. Let’s cover a few bases:
- Is it possible the emails are actually being sent, but are being automatically placed in recipientsโ trash/junk folders?
- Are order receipts successfully being sent for non-ticket purchases?
- If the answer above is no, what happens if you temporarily deactivate WooCommerce Tickets and place an order then โ do the emails come through?
- If they donโt come through for non ticket-purchases, whether or not WooCommerce Tickets is active, perhaps there is some other conflict blocking WooCommerce or stopping wp_mail() (the part of WordPress that sends emails) from working?
- Ultimately, would you be able to run through our standard troubleshooting steps โ but be sure not to deactivate WooCommerce itself โ and see if you can uncover any conflicts?
Let’s start there and see what we find. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Eddie–welcome to the forums!
Sorry for the trouble here. I see what you mean. Normally, the next month link would hide if there were no upcoming events in the future months, but it appears you do have upcoming events in this months.
I tried to replicate the issue on my own setup and came up short. Do you notice a difference when youย activate a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Fifteen)? How about when you deactivate all other plugins, except for The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO? Finally, how about when doing both of those at the same time?
These steps are outlined in greater detail here.
Let’s start there and see what we find. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi there, JH!
I noticed that you posted this to the Pre-Sales forum–is this a support request? If so, it would be great if you could post your question to our PRO forum. If you don’t have an account, then you can always post to our WordPress.org forum as well.
In this case, however, you should be able to update the slug settings in Events > Settings > General. You can also use a redirect plugin and direct a vanity URL to the default calendar slug.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread, please please feel free to post in our PRO support or WordPress.org forum if you still have questions here and we’d be happy to help. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHey Brandon!
The CSS I provided there was a specific example of how to modify the color for the Current day, which you had circled in the screenshot.
You can target the background color for date headers globally–again, using a resource like DevTools will be your best bet here to target and test the classes you want to modify. ๐

MemberThanks for dropping that in, Jake! I appreciate the feedback and this looks like a solid solution.
Davide, will Jake’s suggestion above work for you? Please let me know. ๐

MemberHello Seth!
First off, my sincere apologies for the delay here–I totally let this fall through the cracks and am so sorry.
I think you should be able to get the times on the same line using this CSS:
#tribe-events-content .updated { display: inline; }Will that work for you? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHello Kayla, thanks for getting in touch!
I would love to be able to sell you on this, but I don’t think that our ticketing framework is the best fit for you. We are indeed looking at adding a number of new features that would include some of the features you mention (i.e. collecting attendee info per ticket), but we’re unfortunately not quite there. You can add your vote for this and other features on our UserVoice forum which will update you when progress has been made.
Another option, perhaps, is to check out the Eventbrite Tickets plugin. Eventbrite itself has a number of tools that work well for conference planners and integrating Eventbrite into your site with the plugin might be an idea worth looking into.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know and I’d be happy to answer any follow-up questions you might have as well. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi there,ย kbcelik!
What kind of subscriptions are you trying to integrate? RSS? Recurring payments? Other types of notifications?
The Events Calendar does have RSS baked in, but subscriptions themselves aren’t right out of the box. Depending on what you’re looking for, though, there could be a third-party plugin that could extend that functionality to the calendar.
Cheers!

MemberMy pleasure and thanks for following up! I agree that is an interesting idea and hope it finds it’s way into the feature set. ๐

MemberHi there, goorbital–thanks for chiming in here. There is a snippet that will display past events in reverse chronological order, Give that a shot and see if that will work for you.
Spencer, just want to check in to see if you have any follow-up questions here or if you’re good to go. ๐

MemberHello there, Amy!
Good question. Right now, there is no way to import Facebook events strictly on a category basis. That’s an awesome idea, but for now the only two ways to import events are to auto-import any Facebook event or to manually import events by checking/unchecking them as you noted.
Sorry, this probably isn’t the answer you were hoping for, but does it help? Please let me know.
Cheers!
