I noticed that you posted this to the Pre-Sales forum–is this a support request? If so, it would be great if you could post your question to our PRO forum. If you don’t have an account, then you can always post to our WordPress.org forum as well.
In this case, however, you should be able to update the slug settings in Events > Settings > General. You can also use a redirect plugin and direct a vanity URL to the default calendar slug.
