    I am interested in using this plugin, but our conference registrations can be a bit complex and I want to make sure this can do what I need.

    There will be many ticket types and each ticket type will have several options that affect the price. For example, we may sell an adult ticket for $100 – but that ticket price changes depending on the options (such as whether they want to include meals, whether they are requesting to stay at the facility versus getting their own hotel, etc). Each ticket has a variety of options / add-ons.

    We also need add-ons to the final registration, such as offering to provide bed linens.

    Last, we need to be able to collect different types of information depending on the ticket sold. For example, for a child’s ticket, we will want to know what grade the child is in. For an adult ticket, we don’t need this information.

    Can all of this be accomplished with your system?

    Hello Kayla, thanks for getting in touch!

    I would love to be able to sell you on this, but I don’t think that our ticketing framework is the best fit for you. We are indeed looking at adding a number of new features that would include some of the features you mention (i.e. collecting attendee info per ticket), but we’re unfortunately not quite there. You can add your vote for this and other features on our UserVoice forum which will update you when progress has been made.

    Another option, perhaps, is to check out the Eventbrite Tickets plugin. Eventbrite itself has a number of tools that work well for conference planners and integrating Eventbrite into your site with the plugin might be an idea worth looking into.
