MemberSure thing! This snippet was written a while back to to illustrate how to query events by a specific category and I think it will be helpful for you as well. 🙂

MemberAh, sorry for linking to the wrong theme there–nice catch!
Definitely keep me posted on the reply there. I know there have been some conflicts reported in the past with The Events Calendar and Enfold, but I’m curious what theme function is returning the repeated page title.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Jason, and welcome to the forums!
Good question. Is there a specific version of Outlook that you’ve found is incompatible with the calendar’s events? The Events Calendar generates .ics files on export, which should be compatible with Outlook and Outlook.com as well.
Are you finding something different? If so, does the plugin you referenced clear that up for you?
Cheers!

MemberHey there, ballstadt! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here.
That’s certainly an odd issue. Does the Constant Contact widget also provide venue management? If so, I wonder if those two functionalities are overlapping and conflicting with one another?
I know there are other Constant Contact plugins that will simply focus on email signups rather than all the other features. I wonder if moving to one of those would help resolve the conflict?
Is that something you are able to do? Or perhaps does Constant Contact provide methods for collecting email signups other than the use of a plugin? That’s where I would start. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi flgrich!
It looks like the form is up and running again–were you able to re-solve the problem?
It sounds as though you’re bumping up against a conflict with another plugin. The best to check that and identify the conflict is to follow the steps outlined here.
Cheers!

MemberHey clipanama–nice to see you again. 🙂
I really would like to see support for that too! Unfortunately, the WordPress iPhone app does not support custom post types of any kind at the moment, which is what Events are. It would be nice if we could make that work on our end, but I’m afraid the WordPress app is going to have to make changes on that end to get it going.
I will note, however, that the WordPress admin has a responsive layout–so, if you are able to log into your site from the web browser on your phone, you should certainly be able to post a new event on a screen with a phone-optimized layout.
Does this help answer your question? 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, clipanama!
Great question. I do want to note first of all, though, that we are fairly limited in terms of helping out with custom development questions like this one. That said, we’d love to point you in the right direction if we can.
In this case, I think you would be able to accomplish this by creating a new query in your homepage template that fetches events using the tribe_get_events() function. Here’s a nice tutorial on how that function works with some examples. If you’re wondering how to specifically order events by publish date, I would use:
‘orderby’ => ‘post_date’,
…as one of the parameters in the query.
Will this help you get started? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHey there, flgrich–thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here!
I just visited the link and it seems like the event submission for is there. Were you able to figure out a solution–or perhaps you can point me where I should be looking? Either way, please let me know!

MemberHi there, Lance!
I believe this crops up because Enfold uses a custom function to output the page title. I did find this thread over in the Kriesi forums where that issue was resolved with a snippet. I’d give that a shot to see if it does the trick in this case as well.
Cheers!
