I am ready to purchase your plugin
I need to display my events as they are displayed on the homepage of http://salsalovers.com/
Can you please let me know if that is something that can be done using the stock plugin or if that is done with customization of the code?

Good question. That does indeed look like custom code used on the same your provided. It would certainly be possible to accomplish a similar result, but it would definitely take some custom development to get that same style and layout.
You can use our Themer’s Guide as a starting point for customizations. It’s full of details on how to customize templates and styles without touching the plugin’s core code.
You’ll get a login for this site that you can use to post to the forums once you have purchased PRO. Until then, the Pre-Sales forum is the only open channel for questions related to sales. 🙂

I am still trying to understand how I would be able to post a list of events from a specific category on the homepage that I am developing since I cannot use a sidebar (therefore cannot use the widget…)
Can you suggest a solution I can test?Sure thing! This snippet was written a while back to to illustrate how to query events by a specific category and I think it will be helpful for you as well. 🙂
