I love Events Calendar Pro and use it for all events and ticketing, but my client also uses Constant Contact to manage their email lists.

When I have Constant Contact activated on the site (only for email list signup), it seems to be conflicting with Venue info in ECPro. The New Event creation page stops loading at the Venue Info section. The Widgets admin page stops loading at “Events Featured Venue.”

Everything functions fine, but I need to deactivate Constant Contact to add new events in ECPro.

Is there something I can adjust/turn on/turn off to make them play nice? I’ve turned off CC’s Events features.

    Thanks.

Hey there, ballstadt! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here.

That’s certainly an odd issue. Does the Constant Contact widget also provide venue management? If so, I wonder if those two functionalities are overlapping and conflicting with one another?

I know there are other Constant Contact plugins that will simply focus on email signups rather than all the other features. I wonder if moving to one of those would help resolve the conflict?

Is that something you are able to do? Or perhaps does Constant Contact provide methods for collecting email signups other than the use of a plugin? That’s where I would start. 🙂

    Cheers!

Yeah, I ended up just finding a simpler plugin that is designed only for e-mail signup and not all the other stuff (I don’t know why anyone would want to completely manage their constant contact account/emails through the wordpress backend, anyway).

So, all working now, it’s all good. Thanks for the response. Keep up the good work.
