MemberHey Paul, welcome back!
Is it that people are uploading the same image multiple times, or is it that the image is turned into multiple versions after being uploaded once? Perhaps you can send me the two links to the same image and we can go from there.
Cheers!

MemberHi Jamie, thanks for following up!
Sure thing–this answer in that same thread will give you the step-by-step instructions. 🙂
Did you have any other pre-sales questions about WooCommerce Tickets that I could help with? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberAwesome, I’m glad that helped!
Yes, there is indeed one shortcode currently available–however, it’s for the mini calendar widget. If you’re looking for others, I would definitely suggest checking out Event Rocket, which adds a slew of other shortcodes, including upcoming events lists.
I see my last reply was marked as the correct answer, so I’ll assume you’re all good here–but do please feel free to open another thread if any other questions pop up and we’d of course be happy to help. 🙂
Thanks again for checking out the plugins!

MemberHi Jamie, and thanks for checking out WooCommerce Tickets. I really hope it’s a good fit for your site. 🙂
Great question! The remaining tickets do not display on the front end by default. However, there is a way to make that happen with a few lines of code.
Would this work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Levi!
Bi-weekly recurrences are indeed possible. I know it can be a little tricky at first, but here is a screenshot that shows how to set something like that up.
Does that help? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Steven!
That’s an interesting question. Although directing venues to pages isn’t supported right out of the box, I would imagine there would be two possibilities here:
- Use redirects. You could use URL rewrites to force URLs to redirect to another page. Perhaps a plugin like Redirection would help manage those.
- Customize the venue template. You can override any calendar template–including venues–to create the layout and functionality you want. Our Themer’s Guide is a great resource for customizing templates.
Would either of those routes get you what you’re looking for? Let me kow if you have any follow-up questions here and I’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello Benjamin, nice to see you again!
Man, that is a great idea. I imagine that would be possible but would take some custom development to accomplish that’s outside what we can support here in the forums, I’m afraid.
You’re certainly welcome to post this as an idea on our Feature Request forum so it can be considered in a future version. If you’re interested in hiring a developer for this, you can also email us and we’d be happy to send over a list of freelancers who may be able to help. Just drop a line to us at [email protected] and reference this thread. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Tessa!
Good question and, yes, that is definitely possible. In fact, the plugin will automatically create a unique URL for any category you create. For example, the URL for “Cookery School” would be something like: [your-site]/events/category/cookery-school.
Does this help answer your question? Let me know and I’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Richard! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂
Do you happen to have another page on your site with the same or similar slug (/evenementen)? That can certainly cause the conflict you’re describing here. If you do have a page with that slug, please remove it and see if that clears things up. You may need to flush your permalinks as well to see a change (Settings > Permalinks, click Save).
Will I be able to change the slug for other languages using wpml?
That’s a good question, but I’m afraid that The Events Calendar is not currently compatible with WPML and other multilingual plugins.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Michael! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here.
I definitely see what you mean–I do indeed get the “Invalid Request” error when trying to click the Google Calendar links on your site.
The interesting thing is that I’ve compared a (working) Google Calendar URL from my local setup to your (non-working) URL and they’re quite strikingly different. I’ve created this Gist so you can compare them as well.
Do you notice how your URL is injecting a lot of class names and other variables where the content description is? It seems as though the tabs in your content description are somehow getting rendered in there and that makes me wonder if this is what’s causing the conflict.
I know you have noted trying a vanilla install on a local dev environment with the same results but–if it’s possible–would you be able to set up a new site in a subdirectory of your server so we can test there together? I think this will give us the best clean slate to with and troubleshoot together.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory (if you have cPanel hosting account there will probably be a one-click install to make this really easy)
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO
- Please also stick to a default theme–again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Create a few events so we have some test data to work with
- Are the Google Calendar URLs still pointing to something invalid?
At this point, please stop and let me know what you find before going any further and send me a link so I can look as well. 🙂
Thanks!
