MemberHey there, @chrisd2d!
Yes, you can install a single Personal License on a site within the multisite network, installed directly to that sub-site. It will receive automatic updates on the sub-site rather than the network as a whole.
Good question about Multisite vs. Agency Licenses. You can install any of our plugins on any number of sites, but to get the automatic updates for a multisite network, you would need to have a Multisite License for each network, or one Multisite License for the network and another level license that fits the additional need outside the network. If you’re finding yourself in need of more registering more than 10 sites in additional to the multisite network, I would suggest looking into the Unlimited License since that will be cheaper than purchasing multiple difference licenses types to register everything.
Does this help clarify the licensing a little more? Please let me know!
Cheers!

MemberHi Ray and good question!
You’re right–there is an iCal address for The Events Calendar right out of the box, but the data in it is static to the extent that it is not pushing updating information out to calendars that subscribe to it. RSS is likely your best bet for the time being as far as communication from The Events Calendar to another calendar, whereas our iCal Importer is great for the other way around: another calendar into The Events Calendar.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberThanks, Drew! Are you able to paste the license key you’re using in a private reply? I want to check it against what we have on record.

MemberHey there and sorry for the trouble here!
Just wanted to let you know that we are looking into this for you–this is certainly an odd issue and we’re trying to replicate it on our end to see how to move forward. Thanks for your patience while we work on it!

MemberHi @Luigi,
Sorry for the trouble here! This is an issue we are aware of and are working to patch up in a maintenance release as soon as possible. I don’t have an exact date for when that is coming, but I would keep your eyes posted this week.
In the meantime, adding this snippet to your functions.php file should help. But, if not, please do watch for the release and that should address the issue.
function fix_blog_loop_event_ordering( $sql, $query ) { if ( ! class_exists( 'Tribe__Events__Pro__Main' ) ) { return; } if ( ! isset( $query->query_vars[ 'is_tribe_widget' ] ) || ! $query->query_vars[ 'is_tribe_widget' ] ) { if ( tribe_is_month() || tribe_is_week() || tribe_is_day() ) { return $sql; } } if ( ! empty( $query->tribe_is_event ) || ! empty( $query->tribe_is_multi_posttype ) ) { if ( isset( $query->query_vars[ 'tribeHideRecurrence' ] ) && $query->query_vars[ 'tribeHideRecurrence' ] ) { return str_replace( 'ORDER BY EventStartDate ASC', 'ORDER BY EventStartDate DESC', $sql ); } } return $sql; } add_filter( 'posts_request', 'fix_blog_loop_event_ordering', 20, 2 );Cheers!

MemberHello Anabel,
So sorry for the trouble here! I’ll be happy to help out.
Just to clarify: you do not see the “Import: Eventbrite” option under the “Events” tab in the WordPress dashboard menu–is that correct? Here’s a screenshot for reference.
I am curious about the Eventbrite API plugin. Did you have that installed previously as well, or is that new? That is actually not one of our plugins, so does deactivating it make any difference for you?
Lastly, it would be great if you could run through these troubleshooting steps for me so we can also rule out any conflicts before digging too much deeper.
Let’s start here and see what we find. 🙂

MemberHey Carole,
Oh shoot, sorry about that! Let’s turn that frown upside-down. 🙂
There is a free plugin that helps color-code events based on categories called–creatively–The Events Calendar Category Colors. Give that a try and see if that will fit the bill for you.
Cheers!

MemberHi Hans-Gerd,
Sorry for all the back-and-forth here. 🙂
Just to clarify, are you looking in the Community Events translations file or The Events Calendar PRO one?
Even though it would seem that Community Events is correct, it’s actually a PRO feature and would be contained in there–so make sure and please confirm that the updated PRO language pack is installed in addition to the latest Community Events one.
Thanks!

MemberHey @Drew,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the license key trouble here!
I see two active licenses on file in your account. Will you please let me know which one is causing you trouble (perhaps both?) and confirm what you are pasting in there (as a private reply) so I can check it against your account?
Thanks!

MemberHello @dragonflymd, thanks for getting in touch!
Good question. Facebook Events will allow you to automatically pull in and publish events from specific Facebook feeds, but I’m afraid it does not allow your site’s visitors to add those feeds via Community Events. Instead, your visitors would be allowed to add their events to your calendar in addition to posting them to Facebook.
Doe this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers,

MemberHey Ka,
Thanks for getting in touch and for checking out The Events Calendar PRO!
1) to have repeating events (e.g. every tuesday from Sept. 2015 to february 2016)
2) to have single events (e.g. one time – next thursday)Yes! The Events Calendar PRO does indeed have the ability to publish recurring events and single events in the future. The recurring events can occur one time, or as many times as you would like. You can even create custom patterns for how those events recur.
3) that the plugin is noticing if one special room is occupied in case that the admin create a new event in this special room (like: “alarm, this room is already booked”) – or do you have a add-on for that?
I’m sorry, but I’m afraid that neither The Events Calendar or any of its add-ons will do this. We do have add-ons that allow you to sell tickets for events, but there is no “alarm” to create a new event for booked events like that, I’m afraid.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Nell!
We do indeed have a non-profit program that would allow you to receive any of our plugins for free if you qualify. Please do check it out if that is something you would be interested in. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello Arvind,
Good questions!
1. Can we repeat / clone a previous event/ Clone can save ample time.
The short answer is yes. The slightly longer answer is that it does require an additional, free plugin called Event Rocket which can be found here.
2. From a point, ‘wooCom’ takes over, does it mean that the CCAvenue PG that is currently integrated will work just as fine as it is working now with Shop, etc?
WooCommerce takes over once the ticket is in the cart. That means that whatever payment gateway you use to complete a transaction in WooCommerce for other products will indeed work to complete a ticket transaction as well.
I am sure, in existing system, the attendees will be getting their copy of tickets, with some kind of QR code; right?
Yes, tickets are emailed to a visitor once the transaction has been completed in WooCommerce. QR codes are a feature that is currently in development and is certainly coming.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
