MemberHey there, Frans!
Good question. We do offer a set of ticketing add-ons for The Events Calendar that integrate with different eCommerce platforms and would allow you to create and sell tickets for your events. Ticketing itself is not standard in The Events Calendar, but any of these add-ons would provide that functionality so it does.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHello Ana,
Thanks so much for reaching out! I’m really glad to hear you’re checking out The Events Calendar and considering going with PRO and WooCommerce Tickets while you’re at it. 🙂
Excellent questions–let’s try to hit them one at a time:
1. Can it show inventory? E.g. 4 tickets left!
Yes, it actually can! While the total number of available tickets are not displayed on the events page by default, there is a way to do so using the tribe_events_count_available_tickets() function. In other words, that can be used in the calendar template to count and display the number of remaining tickets for a specific event, if needed.
2. Similarly, can it show number of days left before sales close? E.g. 2 days left to get your tickets!
Oooo, I’m afraid not. The tickets do display and hide on the start and end dates you specify for them, but they do not show those dates on the front end. Good idea though!
3. What is the difference between WP tickets and Woocommerce?
I have to admit that I’m unfamiliar with WP Tickets–is that a particular plugin you’re looking into? I can tell you that our ticketing plugin–WooCommerce Tickets–integrates with WooCommerce so you can create tickets for events directly in the event post editor and sell the tickets through WooCommerce.
4. Understand the ticket plugins can trigger auto emails once payments are confirmed. Can they be used to generate any other mass emails to registered participants, such as dissemination of agendas?
Unfortunately, no. Not at this time. 🙁
5. Will Woo tickets work seamlessly with the Woocommerce CRM?
I am not sure about that. My hunch would be there are some areas that do not integrate seamlessly because WooCommerce Tickets and WooCommerce CRM are separate plugins that weren’t specifically designed with each other in mind. That isn’t to say it wouldn’t work for you though as far as what you need it to do. Do note that we have a full refund on all products within 30-days of purchase–we offer because we know there are a lot of themes, plugins and integrations in the WordPress community and we want to give you ample time to test drive our products to ensure they fully meet your needs in your site’s environments.
Does this help answer your question? Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHello Sebastien,
Thanks for getting in touch and for checking out The Events Calendar!
I have seen compatibility issues reported between Divi and The Events Calendar in the past but most of those have either been resolved or cleared up in recent versions of the theme and the plugin. There may still be some issues, but we find that many people using them together experience no issues at all.
That said, it sounds like the issue you’re describing might be related to appearance and could be resolved with CSS. For example, are you able to target the navigation on the events page and move it accordingly to ensure it is not blocking content on the page? Here’s an article on how to use DevTools to search for calendar styles in CSS. Our Themer’s Guide also walks through some tips on how to customize the calendar’s styles to achieve an appearance that fits better with your theme.

MemberHi Karim and thanks for following up! Hope you had a great weekend. 🙂
That sounds very much like a caching thing to me. Do you have caching enabled in your hosting settings, on your server, or perhaps in a plugin that’s installed on the site?
The Events Calendar won’t delay content from showing published content on the site, so that makes me think that something else is at play–especially because you mention that it’s happening at different parts of the site (an event post and the WooCommerce shop).

MemberHi Hans-Gerd,
I asked one of our developers to look into this a little more and it appears that these strings are already translated.
Did you happen to grab a language pack prior to someone providing translations for these strings and that is why they are missing?
Thanks!

MemberHey there, Karim! Thanks for following up. 🙂
Other thing that i found very strange is that: as you can see in the shop page there is no tickets available http://dsmadrid.org/shop/
I do want to clarify that tickets do not display in the WooCommerce shop by default. It’s definitely possible though if you head to the Products tab in WordPress, click on the ticket, then change the catalog visibility settings in the top right corner of the product editing screen (screenshot).
This is a ticket of an event i have just created and it does not show in the event page:
http://dsmadrid.org/calendario/eroffnung-festwoche-inauguracion-semana-actos-festivos/I see a ticket on this event (screenshot). Is this the ticket you are referring to that you are not seeing or is there another ticket that should also be displayed on that page? If there should be another ticket, please take a screenshot of your ticket settings for that event so I can see how they are set up.
Thanks!

MemberHeck yeah! Nice work and thanks for sorting this out–I know we and others will find this super useful. 🙂

MemberHello Karim,
Sorry for the trouble here!
Quick question: are you able to send me a link to an event where the tickets are not displayed as well as a screenshot of the tickets settings for that particular event? I just want to make sure the settings are all in line before we dig too deep.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHi Anna, just following up with you while Josh is out on a much-deserved vacation!
Your host can help you with a database dump. Or, I do know there are some plugins that will do that for you in WordPress, for example WP-DB Manager. We would love to help you but we unfortunately our terms prevent us from logging into your site.
Cheers!

MemberHey Tim, just following up with you here while Josh is out on a much-deserved vacation.
Encoding could be an issue. Are you able to copy and post the correct symbol into the CSV fields, save the file, then try uploading from there? I checked the same file Josh provided and it seemed as though some of the events were set up for $ while others had not currency symbol.
Also, I do want to note that there are cases where updating an event’s currency retroactively will not work. In these cases, I would try setting up a new event with the correct symbol and see if the issue persists.
Thanks!

Thanks for getting in touch! It’s awesome to see you’re considering PRO and I appreciate the kind words. 🙂
Calendar view in custom post type that shows the events associated with this specific post only
Oooh, interesting! I’m afraid related events to other post types isn’t available right out of the box. However, you might want to consider checking out Posts 2 Posts, which should be able to draw that connection.
Can email the ics file of a single event or a post or all the events
The Events Calendar will not manage or send emails for you, but the ICS files for single and full calendars are indeed available on the site for download.
Set/Send a reminder emails
Shoot, sorry. Again, the plugin will not manage email right out of the box. Although I haven’t tested it personally, MailPoet might be a good option here for event autoresponders. Looks like it supports custom post types, though I am not entirely sure it would recognize the event start date and be able to trigger off that.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know!
