MemberHey Chris,
I followed up with the developer working on the issue and he was able to provide a possible fix for this prior to releasing it.
If you replace the content of this file:
plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/iCal.php
…with this:
https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/d3b3b650ef36c9998635
That fixed the issue in our tests.ย Does that work for you?
Cheers!

MemberHi Isabelle, thanks so much for following up! The link to the other thread helps a ton as well.
We now have a ticket in our system to check this out and I’ve added this thread to it so I can follow up with you when I know more. I don’t have a timeframe for when it will happen but I will be sure to keep you posted.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and sorry for the trouble! More to come.

MemberHi Frank and thanks for getting in touch!
Good question. I’m afraid the additional fields do not add the functionality you are looking for. They will additional additional fields on the back end when publishing new events, but they do not collect additional information from anyone who purchases tickets through the site.
We are working on a feature to collect attendee information but it will be a little ways out before that gets released.
Sorry about that, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Lucie — love the avatar! Has to be one of my favorites. ๐
I’m not awarer of an annual export button on the calendar in this or any previous versions. We’ve had them on List and Month views as well the ability to export an event in the single event view, but we unfortunately have no Year view where that sort of export would exist.
Are you able to direct me to an example of the button you had before, perhaps by downgrading to the previous you were using and I can check from there?
Thanks!

MemberHi Suzanne and thanks for reaching out!
First off, I’m stoked to see you’re using The Events Calendar and I love how it looks on the site. ๐
That’s a strange issue — let’s see if we can figure it out together.
I just checked my test site to see if the dates show up and they do (screenshot). I notice you have tried:
<ul class=”meta”>
<li class=”troubleshoot_plugins”>Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
<li class=”troubleshoot_theme”>Switched to a default theme? YesDid you happen to notice a difference when switching themes and deactivating other plugins?
Also,ย if you are able to copy and paste your system information (Events > Settings > Help) here as a private reply, I’d be happy to look over that to see if any red flags stick out.
Let’s start here and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHey Mark, thanks for following up!
Interesting. In the system info you provided, I see three renamed instances of Modern Tribe plugins:
- The Streams Calendar PRO
- The Streams Calendar: Community Streams
- The Streams Calendar: Filter Bar
Have you modified the plugins so that they are named different than what ships out of the box? If so, I’d be interested to see a fresh install of those plugins downloaded straight from our site here and whether that makes a difference.
I also notice you have these two plugins installed:
- The Events Calendar: Snippet 950694
- Event Rocket
The Events Calendar was a major update and some previous code that was compatible in 3.0 is no longer compatible, so I wonder if the first plugin snippet should be deactivated in case it is causing a conflict. Event Rocket is also no longer supported since 4.0 was released, so it would be worth deactivating that one as well.
Let’s start here and see what we find. ๐
Thanks!

MemberHi folks,
Thanks so much for reaching out! This is indeed an issue we’re aware of–in fact another customer found the same thing and posted the sameย solution in this thread.
We’re looking into this for sure and will keep you posted as we learn more. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions in the meantime and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

MemberHey Valerie,
Do you have Jetpack enabled and are you using the Related Posts setting in it? It looks like the related posts are coming from there rather than The Events Calendar. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHey Mark,
Thanks for getting in touch and for the kind words. ๐
Good question. Yes, there is now a link to a user’s past events in the Community Events add-on when the user is view ing their events (screenshot). Let me know if that same link doesn’t appear for you and we can troubleshoot that together. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi Shannon,
I’m afraid there is no way to feature events at the category level at this time. You can make an event sticky in the Month View which should then appear stick in the Category Month View as well, but I’m afraid that’s not the case for List View.
Sorry for the bad news but does this help answer your question?
Thanks,
Geoff -
