Hide Related Events Not Working

I am trying to hide related events on my calendar and it is not working (I’m doing this because I do not like the way it shows the date the event was posted instead of the date of the event itself). I have checked the appropriate box in the display settings and saved my changes but it is still showing these “related events”. Is there a bug or something?

Hello Valerie, thanks for reaching out.

How strange! I tried testing using the Twenty Fourteen theme like you are and it seems to be working correctly (screenshot).

By chance, would you be willing to share your system information in a private reply? You can find it in Events > Settings > Help at the bottom of the screen. This will help me see what else the site is running and see if I can find anything else that might be contributing to the issue.

Hey Valerie,

Do you have Jetpack enabled and are you using the Related Posts setting in it? It looks like the related posts are coming from there rather than The Events Calendar. 🙂
