MemberGreat question, Gary!
We did indeed just release this feature last week. 🙂
In addition to creating tickets, Event Tickets Plus will allow you to create custom fields that can be used to collect information from each attendee a ticket is purchased for in the transaction process. So, for example, you could add a field called “Allergies” and gather information what foods an attendee is allergic to for planning the event meal.
We have much more information on this feature right here, including screenshots of it in use:

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberAwesome, that’s so great to hear! Thanks a ton for following up and nice work getting things back to normal. 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please do feel free to hit us with a new one if any other questions pop up–we’d be happy to help.

MemberHi Susan,
Great question! WooCommerce is certainly the most popular of the options available to accept payments for Event Tickets Plus, but these work as well:
So, in other words, an e-commerce plugin is required, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be WooCommerce. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

MemberHi Liza and thanks for getting in touch!
I’m sorry, but we do not offer a free trial of our products. You are certainly welcome to purchase any of our add-ons and use our 30-day full refund as a way to test things out and return them if needed–that is the best we can offer at the moment.
Are there any other questions I can help answer in the meantime? Please let me know and I’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

MemberHowdy Peggy and welcome back to the forums. 🙂
Good question. While it’s possible to selectively show the “Don’t list me” option on an event-by-event basis, I’m afraid that’s not the case for a user-by-user basis. That’s an interesting idea though, and I’d certainly encourage you to add a feature request for it so it can be considered in the future.
Sorry for the bas news, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHi Jamie, and welcome to the forums!
Great question. You can target a specific calendar view when hooking into that filter. So, for example, here is how to target all calendar views without affecting the single event pages:

Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Pauls and thanks for reaching out!
When an event has an image on facebook, is it also imported?
Yes, the image is imported as well and gets added to the WordPress library.
What if the facebook event gets updated/changed(ex: fixed typo on title, changed date), will it update on the wordpress site?
No, I’m afraid Facebook Events will not sync that information up. The event is imported from Facebook. You can certainly re-import an event that has been updated, but the plugin will not look for changes to sync automatically.
Exactly, what information fields are imported?
Facebook Events will import the following:
- Title
- Description
- Featured image
- Start and end dates/times
- Venue/address
- Organizer
From there, you  can categorize or tag an event as you would any other WordPress post. You can also set events so that they import as drafts or published posts. Our new user primer for Facebook Events is a great place to get started and see what other configurations are possible when importing events.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know if you have any others and I’d be happy to help as best I can. 🙂

MemberHey Anton, great questions!
Yes, it is definitely possible to change the word events to something else, like magazines. In fact, we have a handy little tutorial on how to do just that. 🙂
And, yes, Events Calendar PRO does include a feature that allows you to add extra fields to events so that you can capture custom information about each issue. Additional fields are a great feature in PRO and you can read up on them more here in this article.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know if you have any others and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHello Eve and thanks for reaching out!
I’m afraid that tickets do not support recurring events at the moment. We are indeed working on adding that feature and hope to ship it in our next major release (4.2) if all things go correctly.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this help explain things a bit? Please let me know.
Thanks,
GeoffMarch 21, 2016 at 8:00 am in reply to: Did folder paths for custom themeing change after update? #1091775Geoff
MemberHi Paul,
Sorry for the trouble here with theming!
Our folder paths haven’t changed. I know that a handful of templates were updated in 4.1, though the single events modules do not appear to be one of them.
Has your theme updated recently? If you are saving the custom templates in a parent theme and that updates, then it’s very possible that the tribe-events directory would be overwritten by that update.
Thanks,

MemberHi @guidegirl and thanks for following up!
In Pages > I have a page called “Events”. There is nothing in it. It says “Permalink:http://www.guidetovintage.com/events/”
That could very well be it. The Events Calendar creates its own page, so having another page on your site with the same permalink can cause issues like the one you’ve been describing. Will you please try deleting that extra page, then heading to Settings > Permalinks and clicking the Save Changes button (even though you will change no settings)? That should remove the conflict and flush your permalinks so that you can give the URL another try.
Thanks!

MemberHi Gisela and welcome back to the forums!
I was just checking out your site and noticed that The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO is currently running version 4.0.7. Will you please update to the latest versions? The Events Calendar is currently at 4.1.0.1 and Events Calendar PRO is at 4.1.
Also, I noticed that the URL you shared is missing /events, so if you add it in there, the link will properly go to the North Carolina search results:
Is that the link you were looking for and does it point to the page you need? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
GeoffMarch 19, 2016 at 7:45 am in reply to: [tribe_events_list] shortcode has stopped working but [ecs-list-events] is ok #1091333Geoff
MemberHi Jennifer and welcome to the forums!
So sorry for the trouble here with shortcodes.
Can you elaborate a little more on what isn’t working with [tribe_events_list]? I just tried it on my test site and it seems to be working as expected. Perhaps you can share a link with me so I can see the issue?
I do notice, however, that Events Calendar PRO is not showing up in the list of installed plugins from the system information you shared. Will you please head to the Plugins screen and made sure the plugin is installed, activated and using the latest version, which is currently 4.1?
The shortcode plugin is unfortunately a plugin created by someone else and something we don’t support here in the forums, though it is helpful to know that it continues to work with the latest update.
Let’s see what happens when you check the list of activated plugins and we can go from there. 🙂
Thanks!
