MemberHey @Radoslaw,
That’s solid feedback and I appreciate you sharing it! If you have a moment, it would be awesome if you posted this idea to our feature request forum. This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
Cheers!

MemberHey @traskmusic and welcome to the forums!
Sorry for the trouble with maps — let’s dig into this together to see what’s happening.
The first thin I notice is that there a couple of errors when I open the console on your site (screenshot). Those don’t tell me exactly what the issue is, but does give us something to work with.
As a first course of action, will you please follow the steps outlined in this post? This will help us confirm whether there is a conflict between the theme and the calendar or with another plugin and the calendar, and where that conflict is if it exists. The results of that will help us determine a next step from there.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Pam and welcome to the forums!
I would like users to be able to sign up for workshops and classes.
Absolutely! We have a free RSVP plugin called Event Tickets that will enable visitors to RSVP for an event on the calendar.
If you’re looking to sell tickets for those workshops instead of an RSVP, then you can add Event Tickets Plus to the mix and that will allow you to create and sell tickets for them, using the ecommerce plugin of your choice (e.g. WooCommerce).
Can I add custom fields to the event registration form?
Yes, that’s something Event Tickets Plus can certainly do. Here’s a detailed post on how the custom fields work for tickets.
If they answer βnoβ to my custom question can I redirect them to a specific url?
I’m afraid that the custom fields in Event Tickets Plus do not contain conditional logic — in other words, the questions asked will not change depending on what the visitor answers in a previous question.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let mw know if you have any other questions about tickets and custom fields and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Michael and welcome to the forums!
That’s definitely possible, but does require our Community Tickets add-on. That connects Event Tickets Plus to Community Events so that those submitting events in the submission form can create and sell tickets for those events as well.
Does that make sense and will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey Mark and welcome tot the forums!
Great question, though I’m afraid that there is no shortcode or oEmbed option for Map View. We are working on expanding our set of shortcodes for future releases, but there is no exact timetable for when those will come. I would suggest adding your vote to the shortcodes feature request, which will subscribe you to receive notifications as we make progress on them.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHey V.A., great question! We actually have a tutorial that includes a snippet you can use to change “events” to something else.
Is that what you’re looking to change? Please let me know. π

MemberHi George, and welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying Event Tickets and Event Ticket Plus so far. π
I’m afraid that the ticket quantity input is something that comes directly from WooCommerce, rather than from Event Tickets itself.
While I don’t have a solution for customizing WooCommerce items, I was able to find this post where someone provided a snippet for how they changes the quantity input to a dropdown selection instead. I haven’t tested it personally, but perhaps it will help provide a starting point to making it happen.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help you get started? Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHowdy @selblais and welcome back to the forums!
Opening the Community Events submission form up to anonymous visitors definitely leaves things open for spammers to get in there. The good news is that Community Events includes an option to active a spam blocker called reCAPTCHA, which you can enable in the calendar settings, under Events > Settings > Community (screenshot).
Please complete those fields and, once you do, those submitting events will need to enter a code to confirm they are not spammers before the submission.
That will definitely help cut down on the clutter!

MemberHey Huw and thanks for getting in touch! I’m glad you’re checking out Events Calendar PRO and I hope it’s a nice fit for your site. π
Great question. ACF fields can certainly be added to the event editing screen. From there, however, you will need to customize the calendar templates to display those ACF fields. We have a Themer’s Guide that walks through the process of overriding the calendar’s templates with your own and that’s the place I would suggest starting for a customization like this.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. π

MemberHey Mylene, thanks for following up!
Custom fields are definitely tricky to call call, but can be using something like this:
Tribe__Events__Pro__Custom_Meta::get_custom_field_by_label( $label, $eventID );Echo that and replaceΒ $label with the label for the workshop number custom field and that should give you the field. π
Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberThanks, Arnie! This is super helpful.
I was able to get the image above the title (screenshot) using this for the template override:

Does that work for you as well? Please let me know.

MemberHi @Asbjrn!
Good question. Do you happen to know if anything changed on the site between when the layout was correct and when it moved around? For example, was there an update to your theme or were any other plugins (including ours) that were updated?
Knowing that will help you and me pinpoint where the changed occurred and tackle this from there.
Thanks!

MemberHi Steve,
Sorry for the cluttered stack of messages there!
These error notices are warnings for site developers to help pinpoint possible conflicts or code changes when WordPress is in Debug Mode. In general, a live site should disable debug mode unless it’s being actively worked on and maintained. Here’s more about it and how to turn it off:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Does disabling debug mode help clear away the messages? Please let me know. π

MemberHello TJ and welcome to the forums!
Sorry for the trouble with the calendar URLs — let’s figure out what’s happening here together.
Do you happen to have a page that contains contains “event” or “events” in the URL? So, for example, if you log into WordPress and head to Pages > All Pages, are there any created pages in there that use those words in the URL or title?
The reason I want to check that first is that having two or more pages with “events” in the URL title will create conflicts just like this where WordPress is unsure which page to choose.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!
