I would like users to be able to sign up for workshops and classes. How do I do this with The Events Calendar?
Can I add custom fields to the event registration form? If they answer “no” to my custom question can I redirect them to a specific url?

How do you recommend setting up email notifications to the site admin of new event registrants ?

Hi Pam and welcome to the forums!

I would like users to be able to sign up for workshops and classes.

Absolutely! We have a free RSVP plugin called Event Tickets that will enable visitors to RSVP for an event on the calendar.

If you’re looking to sell tickets for those workshops instead of an RSVP, then you can add Event Tickets Plus to the mix and that will allow you to create and sell tickets for them, using the ecommerce plugin of your choice (e.g. WooCommerce).

Can I add custom fields to the event registration form?

Yes, that’s something Event Tickets Plus can certainly do. Here’s a detailed post on how the custom fields work for tickets.

If they answer “no” to my custom question can I redirect them to a specific url?

I’m afraid that the custom fields in Event Tickets Plus do not contain conditional logic — in other words, the questions asked will not change depending on what the visitor answers in a previous question.
