MemberHey @wheretogokiddo,
Oh wow, I see exactly what you mean! We made some accessibility improvements in the latest release and it looks like those may have affected the next and previous links on small screens.
I’ve created a ticket in our system to patch this up in a future release. In the meantime, please try adding this to your theme’s style.css file or using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:
#tribe-events-footer .tribe-events-sub-nav { height: 100px; }That adds a height to the links and helped bring them back when I tested it out (screenshot).
Will this work for you as well? Please let me know.
Thanks so much!

MemberHey Serge and thanks for getting in touch!
I really wish I could say that our plugins are the right match for you, but I think there are others that would be a better fit for what you’re looking for. The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are both great for managing a calendar of events but not so great at booking time slots or appointments.
I haven’t played with many appointment plugins personally, but here’s a search of plugins on WordPress.org that offers quite a few and might be a good place to start.
So sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi V.A.,
Ah, good to know about the translation files!
Yes, I do think the best way to go would be to edit the translation files themselves in this case. You can download the latest translation files for The Events Calendar here and for the rest of our plugins here.
From there, you can either edit the files directly or try using a plugin like Say What? to edit specific strings of text.
Cheers!

MemberHey Geoff and thanks for following up!
We are actually working on shortcodes for full calendar views, but I’m afraid that the only shortcodes for the time being are for embedding the calendar widgets.
Another option is to make a new page template and use the tribe_get_events() function to create a query of events on the page. Here’s a post that walks through the finer details of using the function with some examples:

MemberOh sorry, I should have mentioned that is an optional value — the label alone should do the trick.
Geoff
MemberExcellent! I’m so glad that does the trick and I really appreciate you sharing the answer here with us — I know others will find that helpful as well so it’s awesome to have it documented here. Thanks a ton. 🙂

MemberHey Ted!
Email notifications aren’t a feature at this time — though it is something we are looking into very closely.
For the time being, the best way to stay in touch with participants (at least through the plugin) is to use something like our free Event Tickets plugin to take RSVPs for the events, then use the report of attendees with the email application of your choice.
Any other questions about RSS or notifications that I can help with? Please let me know!

MemberHey Gene!
That’s certainly odd!
Sorry if these questions sound dumb, but they’ll help me get a better idea of what’s up:
- Do you see both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO listed as active plugins when you head to Plugins > Installed Plugins from the WordPress dashboard?
- Is your site on a multisite network, or is this a single WordPress installation?
Both plugins have their own file paths:
- /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/
- /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/
Let’s start there and see what find. 🙂
Thanks so much!

MemberHey Matt and thanks for reaching out!
Are there any events beyond June? Month View will hide the link to future months if there are no more events to see.
There is definitely no need to upgrade to Events Calendar PRO. Unless, of course, you want to. 🙂
Please meet us over in the free forums if you run into any other questions or issues and we’d be happy to help!

MemberHey Michael,
Absolutely! I’d be happy to refund your purchase for you. That will deactivate your existing licenses, but will also enable you to purchase the bundle.
Is that something you would like me to do? Let me know and I’ll jump on it.
Thanks!

MemberHi @orionblu,
My last reply was marked as private, but here it is again just in case:
Thanks for chiming in! The snippet should work as-is but, if not and you’re getting a 500 error, then there’s a good possibility that it needs to be pasted into the functions.php file in a different location. Will you please try pasting the snippet right after the opening <?php tag in the file to see if that has any difference?
If you’re still having trouble here, then I would suggest opening a new thread so we can help troubleshoot further.
Thanks!
GeoffGeoff
MemberYou bet, happy to help!
It’s worth noting that we do offer a bundle that packages all the plugins you need together, plus Filter Bar, at a discounted price. Might still work out to about the same price, but with more plugins.
Cheers!
