We are using a membership plug-in and would like to limit the ability to create community events to only a certain membership level. To do so we need the “add event” content to be on a physical page. Do you have a short code for the “add event” content?

    Many thanks.

    Hey Geoff (nice name!),

Absolutely, the following two shortcode comes included with Community Events:ย [tribe_community_events]

Use that in your page to display the event submission form. More on the shortcode can be found right here:

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cheers,

I have now set visibility of the newly created page in our PMPro membership system and it works. However I also need to limit visibility of the main Modern Tribe events page. Do you have a shortcode for this also so that I dont have to use your built in slug (in my case http://www.militaryimagearchive.com/events/)?

Hey Geoff and thanks for following up!

We are actually working on shortcodes for full calendar views, but I’m afraid that the only shortcodes for the time being are for embedding the calendar widgets.

Another option is to make a new page template and use theย tribe_get_events() function to create a query of events on the page. Here’s a post that walks through the finer details of using the function with some examples:

    Using tribe_get_events

    Cheers!
