Changing the word events

For instance in the title of the week view extually in any view

Ah, good to know about the translation files!

Yes, I do think the best way to go would be to edit the translation files themselves in this case. You can download the latest translation files for The Events Calendar here and for the rest of our plugins here.

From there, you can either edit the files directly or try using a plugin like Say What? to edit specific strings of text.

Hi bought the filter bar and the event calendar but the thing is
The filter bar is not showing up in the widgets could you please make this happen we really need this feature.
And also a feature for easy replacing words from different views. Such replacing the word event by another word.

Because I would like to show an evenlist with a filter bar and translate the word event into veiling.
Still no succes with this translation thing.

Is it possible to show the main eventcalendar page in the backend under pages? So we can style the page properly.
I amusing the envato bridge theme find it hard to style this eventpage.

Filter Bar is actually not a widget, but a feature that is displayed on the main calendar. Here it is, for example, on this demo site to the left of the calendar:

I’m afraid the main calendar is not a page in WordPress, but an archive of posts, much like an category archive for Posts.

The calendar layout and styles can be customized to suit your needs. Please check our Themer’s Guide for a thorough overview of how to do that with template overrides and custom CSS.
