MemberHey Nicholas and welcome to the forums! I hope you’re enjoying Events Calendar PRO so far in the short time you’ve been using it. 🙂
Try adding this to your theme’s style.css file or by using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:
.tribe-events-page-template #Subheader .title { display: none; }Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when testing it out on your site. Does that work for you as well? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Joan and welcome to the forums!
I’m so sorry for the confusion and trouble here! It’s worth noting that both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO need to be installed and activated in order for the features to work.
Do you have both plugins installed and activated? Please do so if you have not already and let me know if that gets things in working order.
Thanks!

MemberHi @dcantato,
I’m afraid embedding The Events Calendar on another site is not supported at the moment.
If the other site is running The Events Calendar, then you could grab iCal Importer, which will fetch events on a scheduled basis to share events between calendars. That’s about the only workaround available.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberHi Doug, thanks for writing in!
Not at all. The only requirement to use Facebook Events is The Events Calendar, which is a free download. Events Calendar PRO is not required for you to get the benefits of Facebook Events.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey @Jesenia,
No worries at all! I have submitted a refund for your order (#1164870) and the funds should be back in your account in the next 5-10 business days.
Thanks for writing in to let us know and I hope you consider The Events Calendar for future WordPress projects down the road. 🙂
Cheers,

MemberHi Rafael and thanks for getting in touch!
Good question. It’s possible to sell tickets for events if you are using the following plugins:
- The Events Calendar (free)
- Event Tickets (free)
- Event Tickets Plus
From there, you can install the e-commerce plugin of your choice (e.g. WooCommerce) and that will allow you to create and sell tickets directly from your site.
Another option is to grab out Community Manager Bundle. That includes all the plugins you need to allow other people to post events to your calendar, sell tickets, and split the payments between you and the seller.
Is that the sort of marketplace you’re looking for? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Jason,
Sorry for the confusion here! You can use the plugin on a multisite network without a multisite license. However, using a non-multisite license will display a nag in the admin to upgrade and the plugin will not allow you to network activate it across the entire network.
If you are using the plugin on a single site within the network, then you can certainly install and activate it on that one site rather than the network as a whole. There’s certainly no need to pay the upgrade for that.
Does this help clarify things a bit? We have a post that elaborates on this much more, but please let me know if you have any follow-up questions about the licensing and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Boris,
Ah, I gotcha now. That makes a lot more sense.
Here’s what I tried:
- Creating a new event
- Embedding it via oEmbed in a WordPress page
- Viewing the page to confirm the event embeds (screenshot)
- Editing the event visibility setting from Public to Private
- Viewing the page to confirm the event embeds (screenshot)
You can see that adding the private version of the event prepends a “Private” label to the title.
I am able to replicate what you’re seeing when I log out of the site though and refresh the page (screenshot). So, it appears that the difference in appearance is the difference between being logged in and logged out of WordPress and having the permissions to view the event.
The funny thing is that the same thing is true of WordPress posts. For example, the same behavior occurs when I embed a WordPress post into a page, move it to Private visibility, then refresh the page.
I ran this by our developers and it appears this is how the feature is supposed to work, but I have gone ahead and opened a ticket in our system to review it further. I mean, it’s consistent with WordPress, but perhaps there is something we can do on our end to make it work a little better regardless and we’ll do that in the ticket. I don’t have a timeframe for when we’ll be able to work on it, but I at least wanted to let you know that it’s something that we think is at least having on the radar as something to look into, regardless of whether it is consistent with WordPress.
Thanks,

September 15, 2016 at 2:27 pm in reply to: Is there any option for WSIWYG/visual customization??? #1164864Geoff
MemberHi @Carol and thanks for following up!
The Customizer will work for the elements that are specified as options in the Customizer menu for The Events Calendar and I’m afraid that the widgets are not included in that list of options.
You are correct that the best way to go about updating the widget styles is to use the style overrides that are outlined in the Themer’s Guide link you mentioned.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHi Rich,
Oh man, I’m so sorry and disappointed to see this issue come back up.
I tried pulling events from my test site and it seems to be working (screenshot) but that doesn’t mean it’s not still an issue.
While we don;t normally offer this, I would be happy to log into your dashboard and look for any signs of what might be causing the issue if you would be willing to share the login info in a private reply. Note that I plan on purely observing and will not make any changes.
Let me know if that’s something you would like me to try.
Thanks,

MemberHi Ingo,
Oh man, that is definitely not the reply I was expecting the theme author to provide. Sorry about that and the position it puts you in.
While we do not have contractual services, we do have a list of freelancers who we would happily recommend to help out:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Would you be willing to reach out to folks on that list as a starting point? I’d also be happy to keep this thread open in the meantime in case specific questions about our plugin pop up that we can help answer.
Thanks,

MemberI appreciate that, Tim! Sorry again for the not-so-good news but I’m glad to see more descriptive notes in the request — that goes a long way when considering new features.
Cheers and definitely let us know if any other questions pop up. 🙂
