MemberHello
In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites.
If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin. You will need to manually run updates, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/. If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHello Patricia
It looks like a similar request was made and resolved by my team-mate Nico. Check out his solution at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/hide-recurring-events-with-user-toggle-and-default-on/#post-1216852.
Then in Event » Settings » Display, select a default view as Photo. And in Events » Settings » General » Front-end recurring event instances toggle, make sure this is checked.
Please let me know if that works for you.
Thanks

MemberHello Ivy
Test how your /events page looks when you change these settings: Events » Settings » Display »
Default stylesheet used for events templates
& Events template.

Also, does the calendar display roughly as you’d like with Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/?
I’m hoping we can clear this up soon for you.
Thanks

MemberHi Cinnamon
When you go to Events » Settings » Display » Enable event views, do you have photo view enabled?
Can you embed this shortcode on a post/page using only The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/?
[tribe_events view="photo"]
Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks

MemberHello Kari
I’m sorry you aren’t getting a good image experience with 2014. That certainly isn’t a normal result. I just tested it myself and was seeing images display as they should.

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Please report conflicts or get more help resolving the images issue at The Events Calendar.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
The order of events posting also seems abnormal. Please share that in the forums as well.
Thanks

MemberHello Andrea
In this situation, I’d suggest the parent site use Event Aggregator to import using the “Other URL” feature from the subsites running The Events Calendar.
You may or may not even need Events Calendar Pro, depending upon what features you’d like.
Does that make sense? Is there anything else I can help with?
Thanks

MemberHi Hunter
Just checking – have you installed and configured WooCommerce? It’s helpful to send along System Infoso we can see what your site setup looks like.
These might be helpful as well:

Let me know if you’ve got Woo set up and still experience difficulties.

MemberHi Loretta
Can you first try flushing your permalink rules?
Settings » Permalinks » Save Changes (even without making any changes).
Let me know if that works.
Thanks

MemberHi Taylor
If you exported the events by going to Tools » Export, you should be able to go to Tools » Import to add them. Is that how you exported the events?
Thanks

MemberHello Annie
I suspect it may be related to Yoast’s recent update as well. See the fix that they posted as a starting point: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflict-with-the-events-calendar-advanced-post-manager/#post-9362034.
After that, can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHello Pete
Using Event Aggregator is the best way here for sure. I’d suggest instead of the iCal import, you could use the “Other URL” option to drop in links from your sub-sites.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks

MemberWelcome Jérôme 😀
Here are a few tips to change the look of your calendar:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- Typically, don’t change the theme or plugin’s css files, they will be overwritten on updates. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
Is there anything more I can help you with?
