I am running a 14-site multisite for a group of local libraries. Each site is running an instance of Events Calendar Pro. What I am trying to do is have the main site calendar show every upcoming event for all branches, then have each individual subsite pull in only those events that pertain to that particular branch. So for example, the main site would show all events for the day, but subsite ‘A’ would only show the events in category ‘A’, subsite ‘B’ would only show the events in category ‘B’, and so on.

I’ve seen this issue raised a few times on this forum but all questions are a couple years old, so I dont know if this issue has been addressed since then. Is it possibly to pull information from the main instance of EVP through to the subsites on a multisite installation? And if its not a feature that’s offered, is iCal import still the best option?

    Thanks

    Using aggregator instead.

    Hello Pete

Using Event Aggregator is the best way here for sure. I’d suggest instead of the iCal import, you could use the “Other URL” option to drop in links from your sub-sites.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics.
