MemberHi David
That is correct. The Events Calendar is required to display a calendar and single event listings. Community Events adds only some additional code to allow for submissions.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey John
Check out the bottom right corner on our demo site https://wpshindig.com/events/. It says “Export”. This creates an .ics file that you can take into Google Calendar or other calendar tools. It will auto-update as the website calendar posts new events.
Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks

MemberHi Dave
That is understandable. You may want to pick one or the other to get started with, and then come back for the other plugin at a later time.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

#tribe-events-photo-events .tribe-events-content p { color: white; }Let me know how it goes.

MemberHi Francesco
We do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.

MemberHey Askan
Thanks for sticking this out so long with us. I really value your help in all this.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ignored-events/ explains ignored events. Can you check for those?
Thanks
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberSure thing Jamie
Test how your /events page looks when you change these settings: Events » Settings » Display »
Default stylesheet used for events templates
& Events template.

If that doesn’t seem to resolve it, it is tied to your theme. I have seen others have to add some custom code to get their theme to display without that sidebar.
Let me know if that simple solution works.
Thanks

MemberHey Javier https://wpshindig.com/events/list/?tribe-bar-search=Substantial does work. Do give a few more a try.
If that doesn’t fit your needs, check out Filter Bar https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar. Users can sort based upon the organizer and venue with this. It is the 2nd row on the http://wpshindig.com/events/ page.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

MemberHi Maren
Hi
I’m sorry the Photo View’s sort order is causing you confusion or poor user experience. Others have had similar feedback in the past.
The Photo View uses jQuery Isotope to output the items in a Pinterest-type grid but not in a rigid row-column type grid.
You can view our Demo Site’s Photo View to compare its sorting to how your site is working.
The events are in order if you look at the top of each Photo View item in relationship to the top of the page (not in relationship to each other). Said another way, if your browser’s address bar is the North Pole, all the Photo View items are in order by the earlier start dates being “more north” than later events.
These 2 screenshots may be of further help:
I hope this clears things up. Please let me know if you are experiencing something different.
If you’d like to see the sorting script improved, feel free to suggest it as an enhancement at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you’re wanting Photo View’s sorting or grid/layout customized for your site, I’d guess any customization would need to be done via JavaScript, not CSS. If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our list of known customizers.
Thanks

MemberHey Donald
Since this isn’t a live site yet, can you send us screenshots?
You’ll need to visit this thread on our website to upload those (images sent with email replies don’t reach us).
Can you also check if this happens using a default theme, such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/.
Thanks

MemberHey Javier
https://wpshindig.com/events/month/?tribe-bar-search=Code+For+Brazil is an example of searching for the organizer in the keyboard box on our demo site.
Does that help? Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Dave
That is almost correct. Events Calendar Pro is needed to handle recurring events https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/.
However, Event Tickets Plus can’t add tickets to recurring events.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets.

MemberHey Jennie
When I try visiting your calendar, I see a database connection error. https://www.buggybuddys.com.au/perth-events/. Are you getting this too?
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. I know you tested recent plugins, but we really need to test against all plugins and themes.
We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/). If you are unable to do so, please install <a href=”https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/“ title=“Health Check Plugin”>the Health Check plugin so that you can effectively disable all plugins without website visitors noticing any changes.
Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).Â
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHi John
Event Aggregator is more of a tool to import Google calendar into The Events Calendar. It is great if you want to have people add events to a Google calendar and have that displayed then on your site.
However, on your calendar, you can have people subscribe/export to their own Google accounts. See http://wpshindig.com/events in the bottom right corner. This is our demo site. Even on the free version of The Events Calendar, you can have this export/subscribe functionality. The problem is getting your users off the original Google calendar. You could pester them by putting up some sort of a polite nag notice as an event that just says go to this website and hit Export events.
I do hope one of these options works for you. Keep me posted on what you decide.
Thanks
