ParticipantI have a site that is still in development and I have installed Events Calendar PRO and put the short code [tribe_events] into a test page. From that page when I try to change views to week, day, map, etc. instead of going to those views I am taken back to the front page of my site.
All that is on the page itself is the short code and it is using the theme I have installed called Mesmerize.
Ultimately I could use the default calendar page, but for some reason on the initial view (month) the header line is blank, in all the other views it says “Events” in the header. I was trying to work around that issue by using the short code on my test page that I could edit the header.
It may be difficult to provide a direct link to the site as I haven’t forward DNS to the new location yet as it is still being developed.
Any help that you could give to either scenario would be appreciated.

MemberHey Donald
Since this isn’t a live site yet, can you send us screenshots?
You’ll need to visit this thread on our website to upload those (images sent with email replies don’t reach us).
Can you also check if this happens using a default theme, such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/.
Thanks

ParticipantCourtney,
I have attached some screen shots to help show what is going on. In Image01 this is the default calendar in the month view. You can see that the word “Events” is missing. When I switch views to any other view the word “Events” shows as seen in screenshots image02 and image03. Because of this I created a temp page to test using the shortcode instead. Image04 shows the page setup, Image05 shows that it looks as expected. However when I change views on the temp page then I am taken back to my front page instead of the correct view. You can see that in Image06. I tried putting a red circle or dash next to the areas I am speaking of.
Ultimately most of the default works if I could get it to say “Events” on default month view. Or the alternate would be to use my temp page to get the title but have it go to the correct page when changing views.

MemberHi Donal
Are you able to reproduce this with a default theme, such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ and with all other plugins except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro deactivated (including turning off CSS Hero)?
We recommend conducting these tests on a <a href=”https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/ title=“Staging Server”>staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
