Hi, How are you?
I purchased the WordPress Theme https://themeforest.net/item/fitness-club-health-fitness-wordpress-theme/18718676?ref=BoldThemes and it has included your free version.
Looking at your website it looks like we need to upgrade to the Pro Version in order to…
- Show the weekly calendar
- Show recurring events
- Add custom fields and actions when clicking, or hovering over a Event.
Ideally it will look very similar to this http://rikdevos.com/demos/wordpress-responsive-timetable/style-2-demo/. On each event there will be specific information and ideally a link to add this event to a iCal or Google Calendar.
It would also be great to be able to link to a page like this http://fitness-club.bold-themes.com/main-demo/our-classes/single-class/
Is this all possible in the Pro version?
Many thanks,
Jamie

Yes, that will be possible with our plugin. A word of caution, when themes integrate with ours, they often add additional design elements that exceed our plugin defaults. This can be a great thing, but it is good for customers to know who to go to for support for some elements. You can see our weekly view at https://wpshindig.com/events/week/. This is how we would expect the calendar to display. It looks like your theme has events categorized by color, which looks fun!
Our single event listings are a bit different than you might be looking for: https://wpshindig.com/events/
When you are ready, here is our tutorial on recurring events: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
And additional fields: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
Courtney ๐February 15, 2018 at 7:08 pm #1454881JamieGuestGreat, thanks for the above Courtney.
So I would also be able to link through to a specific page when updating to Pro? Because right now it links to the event page you highlighted above. I’d need this to go somewhere else that is all. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Jamie

By link through, do you mean something like the “Website” field on this demo page: https://wpshindig.com/event/womens-javascript-study-group/2018-02-28/
That link option is available in our free The Events Calendar plugin.
Thanks
Courtney ๐February 16, 2018 at 7:49 pm #1455996JamieGuestHi Courtney,
No sorry. I was referring to the calendar view. So I would add a link to this view https://wpshindig.com/events/week/ as part of a specific event. Ideally the link will link through to a page of my choice, and not link through to a page like https://wpshindig.com/event/womens-javascript-study-group/2018-02-28/
So where I have the timetable here http://jcwfitness.co.uk/jcw/ a single event on the calendar would have a click through to a custom page.
Or, have no click through at all so it just for display purposes.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Jamie

Unfortunately, we don’t have that functionality built in. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.
That said, there are others that have customized this a bit. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/disable-link-to-individual-event-page-on-calendar/ is one close to that idea.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
Courtney ๐February 21, 2018 at 1:59 am #1459515JamieGuestGet ya. So we could link through to a page like this easily enough http://jcwfitness.co.uk/jcw/event/pilates-on-the-ball-2/, without showing a popup on the calendar view (with some modifications to the CSS/Code).
Is there a way to remove the right column for the event page here http://jcwfitness.co.uk/jcw/event/pilates-on-the-ball-2/ ? so it’s just a single column page? Am I right in thinking it’s some custom updates regarding the template?
Thanks for answering all my questions.

Test how your /events page looks when you change these settings: Events ยป Settings ยป Display ยป
Default stylesheet used for events templates
& Events template.
If that doesn’t seem to resolve it, it is tied to your theme. I have seen others have to add some custom code to get their theme to display without that sidebar.
Let me know if that simple solution works.
Thanks
