MemberThat site is also using The Events Calendar. See the “Export month’s events” button in the lower-right corner of the calendar? Copy that link (which is http://www.millcreekmetroparks.org/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=month) and paste that in the iCal Importer’s “iCal URL” field.
I hope that’ll give you what you’re looking for! 🙂

MemberBummer, but thanks for that video screencast; it really helped. I tested on my own local site and replicated similar issues on Twenty Fifteen theme with our latest v4.0.2… so back to the devs on this one. I hope we can resolve it soon! Thanks for your patience and assistance helping us iron this bugger out. 🙂
Cliff
MemberI understand this can happen sometimes; sorry about that.
Let’s still try to get you a resolution though.
I visited http://cityofcharleston.com/test/events/ again and this time only saw the “Google Maps API multiple times” error and not the “isotope” error message, which is good.
Please add this code to your active theme’s functions.php file and then visit your events page
this code:Â https://gist.github.com/aaron-longerdays/6294543
Please copy and paste your results here and I’ll see if there’s anything I can do with that information.
Cliff
MemberThanks for the info and the screenshot and your patience as we try to figure this one out.
Which site are you trying to import events from?
===
If you upload your own .ics file to your web server (e.g. via SFTP or via cPanel File Manager or another method), then you’d copy the link to the file, like http://mysite.com/wp-content/my-ical-file.ics and enter that URL into the iCal Importer… just like if the .ics file lived on someone else’s server and you know the location of the file.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Cliff
MemberYou can actually see it in the “mock screenshot” for the first link’s background image:
You can see a more direct screenshot of it at this page:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/rsvps/
Of course, the Event Tickets plugin is free, so feel free to give it a try too!
Let me know if you need anything else.
Cliff
MemberThanks! You definitely did it correctly (and please make sure to now remove that bit of code from your functions.php file).
IÂ do see .ics as an allowed file upload type so now we know that’s not the issue.
Here are a couple ideas:
- You might try deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins and activating a WP default theme like Twenty Fifteen and seeing if the issue is resolved.
- I saw from your screencast that you do have other .ics files uploaded to the Media Library. Maybe there’s a problem with the specific .ics file you’re trying to upload? You could try running it through an iCal validator (e.g. http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/ but not guaranteed by us) and see if there are any issues.
- If you’re still experiencing the issue after #1 and #2, maybe upload the .ics file to your server via SFTP and then use the “iCal URL” option instead of the “.ics File” option and see if it works that way.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Cliff
MemberI’m not familiar with the theme or the Cherry Plugin for it.
I’d suggest deactivating the Cherry Plugin, then testing. If not yet resolved, then switch to Twenty Fifteen and test.
Then we’ll know more specifically where the issue lies and you might be able to request support for it from your theme author.
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.

MemberTor, recurring events is part of PRO.
I’m glad to hear you’ll give them a try. I hope you find a solution that works well for you.

MemberOliver, I tested again (at dev’s request) and now it’s working with PRO active. Please try re-saving your Permalinks settings after activating PRO and let me know if it works for you now.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi Quincy. Sorry you’re experiencing issues automatically updating the PRO plugin.
Firstly, I deleted the login credentials you posted for your site because:
- This is a public forum and, therefore, everyone can (used to be able to) see your login credentials, and
- We do not login to customers’ sites so please don’t provide credentials to us again in the future unless explicitly requested by us (which likely won’t ever happen).
Secondly, I do see in your account an active PRO add-on license for your http://djjustinmusic.com/ site so auto-updates should be working for you there.
I know auto-updates are so much more convenient and hassle-free, but to hopefully resolve your auto-update issue in the future, please proceed with updating manually at this time.
Thanks for your understanding. Please let me know how it goes.
Cliff
MemberThanks for the screencast!
Could you please add this code snippet to your active theme’s functions.php file (without the ‘<?php’ part, which is added to the gist solely for syntax highlighting purposes) and copy and paste the ‘var_dump’ results here?

Thank you!
Cliff
MemberHi Rhonda. So sorry about this happening on your site. It’s something our developers want to make sure to have not happen in the future.
For your current predicament, you should be able to manually update your plugins to the latest versions and then everything should be working again.
Please let me know how it goes for you. I hope to hear back a good report.

MemberYou’re welcome. We both hope it’s fixed soon.
Cliff
MemberHi Ameet. Sorry that other thread (here:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/sales-order-reports-missing-orders/) got closed. It’s been re-opened. I’m going to close this thread and let you reply back to the other one again, as needed.
Thanks for your understanding.
Cliff
MemberHi. This functionality is default in our newest plugin: Event Tickets (free) and Event Tickets Plus (optional add-on)
Please check it out and let me know if I can answer any follow-up questions for you.
Thanks.
