MemberHi Robert. Thanks for inquiring about our Facebook Events plugin and suite of calendar add-ons.
I’ll try to answer your questions succinctly:
- Please refer to our FB Events plugin New User Primer. Clicking through the links, you’ll see “Note: The Facebook Events API only enables automatic import for Pages and Organizations. Profiles and Groups will not work with Automatic Imports, but can be manually imported.”
- If your approved users/merchants have a user account on your WordPress installation, they could add and/or edit events via wp-admin. If you’d like, we have the Community Events plugin that enables front-end event creation and editing. There are access rules, or you can choose to allow anonymous (not signed in to a WP user account) submissions.
- Our plugins shouldn’t have such conflicts with other well-coded plugins and themes, but we don’t guarantee compatibility with everything. You can read more at our Scope of Support Terms.
- You can choose to purchase one or several of our add-ons. They should all work properly together but none require the others (except for Community Tickets, as stated at this link). All the add-on licenses have the same functionality. The only limitation is the number of sites we agree to provide support for.
I hope this helps give you a better idea of our offerings.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi Karim. Thanks for the video; it really helped.
I see you’re using the Avada theme.
Could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme and seeing if the issue persists?
If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to ‘tribe-events-bak’. Did that fix it?
If the issue persists in the default Twenty Fifteen theme, then we have a different set of debugging steps. Please keep the Twenty Fifteen theme enabled, and also disable any plugins other than the ones from Modern Tribe to see if that fixes it. If it does, please try re-enabling the plugins one at a time until the issue resurfaces. When it does resurface, can you let me know which plugin caused that to happen?
Cliff
MemberAwesome. Thanks so much! 🙂
Cliff
MemberHi Johan. The developers are working on it and should release a fix in the near term. Thanks for reporting the issue and for your patience.
Cliff
MemberSure. We have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Since the two add-ons do work together, I suggest purchasing Community Events now, getting your site setup how you want, and then requesting a refund of PRO within your refund time period if you determine you really don’t want it.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberGlad you got it figured out!
Cliff
MemberPaul, thanks for letting me know it worked for you.
365naples, this is your thread. How’d it go for you?
Cliff
MemberGlad to hear. Thanks for letting me know.

MemberHi Jennifer. Thanks for your question.
All our add-ons are independent (i.e. don’t require any other paid add-on)… except for Community Tickets, which states so on that product page.
So for PRO or Community Events, you can buy one or both. If you buy both, the Community Events front-end form allows users to enter “custom field” information that you add via the PRO add-on.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi Tor. You are correct that the PRO add-on and the Community Events add-on are two separate add-ons.
I see you purchased PRO but not Community Events.
Is there anything specific I can help you with?
Cliff
MemberHi Wendy. Thanks for your question.
That option at wp-admin > Events > Settings > General has this help text:
Have an event that runs past midnight? Select a time after that event’s end to avoid showing the event on the next day’s calendar.
So it’s for events that run past midnight.
You might be able to add some custom coding to limit the inputs to nothing later than 5pm or something like that, but we don’t provide support / code snippets for such customizations.
If you’d like, you may search through our feature requests (and add your own if you don’t find an existing one) at https://tribe.uservoice.com/
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with on this topic.

MemberHi Kenneth. Thanks for your question.
I appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we cannot provide such in-depth customization help, per our Terms.
You might be able to use the WP_Query ‘offset’ parameter in tribe_get_events.
I hope that suggestion helps you get started with your customization. If you get started with it and get hung up, I may be able to help a bit more.
Thank you very much.

MemberHi Jorge. Thanks for the screenshot. Are you referring to that little orange square above the heading?
You might try going to Events > Settings > Display and switching the “Events Template”. I’m guessing it’s on “Default Page Template” so try switching it to “Default Events Template”.
If that doesn’t do the trick for you, I’d need to get a link to try to help any further.
Please let me know how it goes for you.
