ParticipantWe upgraded several sites last night to use the newest plugin. We are using Events Calendar 4.0, Events Calendar Pro 3.9.1. Immediately after upgrading, we started seeing errors in new relic. The errors are not appearing on the site. Please let me know what else we can provide to help.
Here’s the full stack trace of one of the errors we are seeing:

MemberHi Findly. Thanks for the question and all the details.
I noticed you’re on WordPress version 4.1.1.
It’s strongly suggested to use the latest version of WordPress and all our plugins, so you could start by updating to the latest version of WordPress, which is currently 4.3.1.
I think your main issue is that you’re using The Events Calendar 4.0 (latest version) but you’re using The Events Calendar PRO version 3.9.1 (really old version).
PRO is currently at version 4.0 but was previously at 3.12.6 so your 3.9.1 is a really old version. Please update your PRO add-on to version 4.0.
Please let me know how it goes once everything’s updated to the latest versions.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, we cant upgrade WordPress to 4.3.1 at this time. We have several production sites running on our WP platform right now so that has to be well planned. We do have plans to upgrade to the latest version of WP but that probably wont be by the end of this year.As for upgrading the Events Calendar PRO plugin, WP is showing that there is no upgrade available for that plugin and just browsing your site I didnt see mention of an update for it. We definitely would be interested in upgrading this plugin, how would we go about doing that?

MemberPlease either enter your license key in wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses. The automatic update might not show up for a little bit of time.
Alternatively, please check your Downloads and update the pro plugin manually (e.g. SFTP).
Please let me know how things go for you.

MemberSorry your automatic update hasn’t appeared yet. I’d suggest updating manually if it hasn’t shown up after 5 hours already. I don’t think it should take a minimum of 24 hours, but I’m uncertain.
Updating manually should be relatively painless to do.
