ParticipantHello, I’m a PRO user and I’ve been trying to solve an issue with The Events Calendar Widget and Pagebuilder.
When adding the widget it displays all events and works fine. But I want to display only a category – when specifying the category I need under “Filter” inside the widget and updating the page it seems like the widget is set back to default category again which is none.
So, it’s impossible to filter the list by selecting a category.I have read that there are several others experiencing this problem so I’m hoping you guys have a solution for this.
I have also checked the SiteOrigin support foum this is what they say:Andrew Misplon
Hi. The range of plugins and widgets out there and flexibility in which they can operate does mean that Page Builder isn’t compatible with everything. We are following best practices wherever possible so in the case of conflicting plugins we encourage the plugin developers to get compatible with Page Builder. We’re available in the event they need assistance in doing so. You can assist by contacting the developers in question.Hope you can help out!

MemberHi Johan. I tested that plugin with our Event List widgets (both core/free and PRO) and confirmed they don’t play nicely together. I’m sorry about that, and I reported it to our developers. It’ll be up to them to determine if/when anything will be done about it. Additionally, we don’t provide ETAs even if it’s something they choose to attempt to resolve.
In the meantime, you might want to try using the Event List Shortcode. I hope this workaround will be sufficient for your needs.
