MemberCould you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please share your System Information and some links to events that should have tickets that request Attendee Meta and send screenshots of the wp-admin event ticket editing setup so we can see how you’ve set it up.
Thanks.

MemberSorry about the frustration and lost time. I’m glad to hear the issue doesn’t exist for new tickets. Thanks for letting me know.
Cliff
MemberI tested the search results page single event links when I had “whats-on” as the plural and singular slug settings.
Please go to your wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks and re-save Permalinks.
If that doesn’t fix it, please then send me a screenshot of your entire Permalinks page.
Note: I see http://flyingarts.org.au/?s=artiz no longer adds “whats/-on” in the URL. Did you remove that part of the URL somehow? I did find the original issue still at http://flyingarts.org.au/?s=grounded though…

charrame, thanks for chiming in, but the links at the URL you provided worked just fine for me and someone else I had test. If you’re still having the issue, please open your own separate ticket with your own description of the issue.
Thanks! 🙂

MemberInteresting…
This is untested but was provided to someone else in the past for Month View. I just copied, pasted, and modified to use the List View function instead: https:// gist. github.com /cliffordp/4a22ce32a415a3ec9f54 (without spaces in the URL)
Please let me know how things go.
Cliff
MemberThanks for the additional information.
I do not see Event Tickets Plus in your list of active plugins. Do you have the plugin installed?
If no, please download and install it.
Once installed, please activate it, then you should see both “RSVP” and “WooCommerce” ticket creation options in wp-admin when creating or editing an event.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

MemberThanks for your System Report.
The Events Calendar PRO is an add-on plugin. In other words, it’s a separate plugin to install but it requires The Events Calendar free/core be installed and active as well.
If you do not have the PRO plugin installed, please download it, then install and activate it in wp-admin.
If you already have PRO installed but not activated, please find it in your list of Plugins and activate it.
Once it’s activated, please visit wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab
I hope this works for you!

MemberRachel, please update your wp-config.php file to include the following:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );Then we can take another look.
Without SCRIPT_DEBUG being true it’s really hard to trace where the error might be.
Thanks!

MemberGlad to help where I can. Support doesn’t have control over development or QA testing, but they do listen when we speak up to share users’ experiences.
We’re always trying to do well for everyone. I hope your experience with our products improves over time.
Cliff
MemberYou’re very welcome!
It is more tucked away than it probably should be for perfect UX, but I’m glad you’ve got it working for now. 🙂
Cliff
MemberThanks for the quick reply. Glad it’s working for you! Please open a new ticket if it happens again in the future.

MemberHi. In our testing in planning to develop any needed fixes, it was discovered to be working properly.
I just tested your link and successfully submitted an event.
Please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it’s not resolved for you, please share your System Information to help diagnose the problem.
Thanks!

MemberHi Paul. In our testing in planning to develop any needed fixes, it was discovered to be working properly. I previously missed the fact that the reCAPTCHA only displays for anonymous form submissions. If a user is logged in, it will not display.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
Thanks!

MemberHi Lise. Thanks for sharing your concerns in a candid yet polite manner.
I hope to provide you with information that helps you pull off fantastic results for your client.

Please reference Using one license for your live and dev sites.
Additionally, it’s always best practice to have some setup like a testing/staging version of your site and the production version of your site. The workflow would be to update and manually test (click through, create new events, general quality assurance stuff) on your staging site and if all looks like it’s working on your specific site with your specific setup (theme, active plugins, code customizations)… then update your production site.
Some web hosts make this setup easier to pull off. Some people just don’t want to mess with this. I don’t know your scenario or preferences, but I wanted to share this best practices information.
Our Manual Updates page has a bit more “warning, warning, warning!” backups verbiage than our Automatic Updates page, but backups are always a good idea even if updating automatically.
===
As far as the quality and safety of our updates, no software can be guaranteed to be perfect for all use cases and customization scenarios. However, we spend a lot of effort automatically and manually testing each release.
While we probably won’t ever be “bug free”, we take it seriously and regularly release maintenance updates to squash as many bugs as possible.

Thanks for your attention to detail with all this information. Please let me know if there’s anything more I can do for you.
