ParticipantI cannot select different views on the events calendar while the Filter Bar plugin is activated. I tried deleting both The Events Calendar and Filter Bar plugins and reinstalling them to no avail. Any other suggestions?
There is a password gate up right now to view the site. Use the following to get to view the site.
u: flywheel
p: cybersproutPlease note that these credentials are only for the view gate, not a WP account, so it is perfectly fine for these to be published publically.

MemberHi Rachel. I see this error in the Chrome console after trying to switch views: http://cl.ly/1q2y3h0F1V3R
please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantCliff,
Thanks for the response! I went through the guide and the only thing I’m seeing is that the views don’t work while the Filter Bar plugin is activated. I deactivated all other plugins and switched to the default theme and the issue was still present. It works as soon as the Filter Bar is deactivated.
I’m seeing the same error in the Chrome console but I’m unsure how to fix it from that feedback.

ParticipantThis is the same problem I’m experiencing. When the Filter Bar is deactivated the View As dropdown works. When it is activated the dropdown no longer functions. The problem exists when the filter bar is horizontal and when it is vertical. The problem started after the last update.

MemberRachel, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Barbara Ann, thanks for your “me too” comment and the additional details. Please open a new thread and include your system details there too. In this forum, we like to handle each customer’s issue separately.
Thanks!

MemberThanks for that information. I see you’re on the latest versions of all our plugins, which is always good!
However, I tried your Filter Bar settings (Vertical, Open) on my local testing site and couldn’t replicate the issue.
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this (my guess is your theme is conflicting in some way, but it might be a plugin conflict instead).
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberRachel, please update your wp-config.php file to include the following:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );Then we can take another look.
Without SCRIPT_DEBUG being true it’s really hard to trace where the error might be.
Thanks!

MemberSo you turned on The Events Calendar debug mode or WP_DEBUG via Flywheel settings?
Can your host also enable SCRIPT_DEBUG for your site?

Participantscript_debug is now on

MemberRachel, I don’t think it’s taking effect, since the .min.css files are still the ones loading: http://cl.ly/2v3w050L4310 (screenshot of your Events page source)

ParticipantYep, you’re right. I emailed them again and it should be on now.

MemberRachel, I apologize for the delayed response, but I have passed this along to one of our developers to investigate further now that I have verified that the minified files are not being served (so SCRIPT_DEBUG appears to be in effect). I expect you’ll receive a reply on Monday. Thanks for your patience.
