MemberMathew, please allow this thread for David’s issue and keep your own thread separate.
David, adding Category support to the tribe_events shortcode is expected soon.

MemberPaul, thanks so much for letting me know this issue is resolved.
Have a great day!

MemberThank you.
Unfortunately, that iCal feed is invalid, per http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/
Please make sure you only use iCal feeds that validate. If this or any other feed doesn’t validate, please ask the source of the iCal feed to fix it. In this case, please ask Google’s support why it is not validating.

October 20, 2016 at 10:09 am in reply to: After update (yesterday) – PRO version doesn't work correctly now #1179952Cliff
MemberI noticed console errors at your site:
- “You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.”
- 404 error for http://kochschule.berlin/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Footer-Logo-2.png
(If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
When I clicked to Next Month, no additional console errors appeared, but the response for the next month is coming back with a 302 Moved Temporarily status for http://kochschule.berlin/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. I’m not sure why that would be, but it’s possibly a plugin conflict or some weird server configuration.
Therefore, I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberThanks for trying that out, Matthew.
I don’t know anything about BeTheme, but I’d suggest asking their support about the issue, since we don’t provide support for non-default WordPress themes, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
October 20, 2016 at 9:54 am in reply to: Google Maps not showing up in the sidebar any more #1179938Cliff
MemberThat link does not have a sidebar. Is that what you’re saying the issue is?
If yes, please try changing this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display > Events Template
Cliff
MemberComment out this line in your theme’s functions.php file (assuming that’s where it’s located):
add_filter(‘the_posts’, ‘tribe_past_reverse_chronological’, 100);Then check if your events appear in order like http://wpshindig.com/events/list/. If they don’t, start troubleshooting:
With all non-Modern Tribe plugins deactivated and using Twenty Sixteen theme, do the events appear in the default order?
If yes, activate your theme. Then do the events still appear in the default order?
If yes, activate your plugins (some at a time or all of them if you prefer). Then do they appear in the default order?
If yes, then un-comment that snippet and see if that’s the only thing causing the display issue (not sorted perfectly / events out of order).
Cliff
MemberI’m glad to hear that! 🙂
Have a great day.

This is a confirmed bug in Event Aggregator.

Sorry you’re having these troubles.
Did you get a copy of your order via email? Do you have an Order#? Did your credit card actually get charged?
If you need additional assistance with this topic, please submit an email to support [at] theeventscalendar.com with the information requested above.
Thanks a lot. Hopefully you’ll be up-and-running really soon!
