MemberHi Saif.
I noticed console errors at your site: https://cl.ly/0Y0e373w241B
(If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
That first console error is coming from wd-facebook-feed plugin. If you disable that, does your Community Events “Description” form work?
If it still doesn’t, you might want to look into resolving the other console error too.
If that still doesn’t help resolve the issue, then I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi Julien.
On my local testing site (using Twenty Sixteen theme), if I have an event called “Day at the Zoo” and I have a ticket called “Woo Ticket for Parents” and I use the front-end site search for “Parents”, it will display “Woo Ticket for Parents” as the text but that text will link to the single event.
Is this not what happens at your site?
Cliff
MemberHi Bernhard.
Thanks for your detailed question.
No, this is not currently possible, but you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

MemberHi Neil.
You can create an Event in any status WordPress allows, such as Private or Password Protected.
Therefore, the users who know how to get in to view this single Event will be the only ones who can purchase the tickets assigned to it.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi.
I understand your Month View doesn’t have the “Next Month” link at the bottom.
This should only happen if there are no events in the future.
For example, if you have events in October 2016, December 2016, and February 2017, there will be a “Next Month” link on all the months from January 2017 and back but there won’t be one for February 2017 because there aren’t any future events (e.g. March 2017)
Please let me know if this answers your question.

MemberHi Dawn. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Event Tickets Plus is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin.
Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.
You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.
Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.
Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.
The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.
We do not currently have some of the features you asked for:
- tickets support for recurring events
- email confirmation of signup
- email reminder before event
You could suggest these (or find existing requests) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Cliff
MemberHi, Jesus. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.
We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.
If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.
October 26, 2016 at 8:25 pm in reply to: PreSales, Plug in Events Calendar, and what package we need to fit our goals #1183552Cliff
MemberHi Sam. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite. We’re glad to help here in this Pre-Sales Forum. We do not offer phone or email support, just the forums.
Our plugins only work for the software from WordPress.org, not for the sites hosted at WordPress.com
If you have a WordPress.org site, you can start by installing our The Events Calendar free/core plugin. It offers quite a bit of functionality for free, including month view.
It sounds like you’d definitely be interested in our Community Events add-on. Our PRO add-on enables Additional Fields, amongst many other features.
You might also be interested in our Bundles.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi Paul. You can view your licenses at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/
Please let me know how that goes for you.
Thank you.
October 26, 2016 at 8:13 pm in reply to: Modify the text beside qr code and the url in the email that contains the ticket #1183548Cliff
MemberHi. The email gets sent from /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php
And the QR code comes from /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/QR.php
You can override the email.php file. More information is available at our Themer’s Guide.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi Patrick.
We have this information regarding translations:
- Translating the premium plugins
- Translating The Events Calendar (free/core plugin)
- How to Override Plugin Language Files (custom language files on your own site)
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
October 26, 2016 at 7:59 pm in reply to: Paths to customise venue event template/page + date picker popup #1183539Cliff
MemberHi, Ben.
In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. Thanks for your understanding, and I’ll answer only your first question.
The single Venue template file is located at /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/single-venue.php
You’ll want to copy this file to /wp-content/themes/YOUR-CHILD-THEME/tribe-events/pro/views/pro/single-venue.php and then make your edits there.
Please reference our Themer’s Guide for more details and let me know if you have any follow-up questions about this issue.

MemberAndré, sorry you’re unhappy with the pricing. I do not know how they were decided or influenced.
Ronald, since this was originally your thread, please let me know if there’s anything more I can help with here.
Cliff
MemberI’m glad you’re making progress.
For spacing, I believe you’ll need to make such customizations via CSS. If you provide me the link to a single event and tell me what you want, I should be able to get you started in the right direction.
Location functionality is only available for Venues, not Events or Organizers. Although a longshot, if desired, you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
