January 20, 2017 at 10:35 am in reply to: Recurring event "see all" link goes to a page with no content #1221617Cliff
MemberFrom another user’s similar report, we’ve discovered that Weekly, Daily, and Custom recurrences only got migrated over partially. And since the recurrence rules aren’t set perfectly, I am guessing this is why the pop-up text is blank.
I’d suggest going into your event’s recurrence rules and re-saving them, and then see if the pop-up recurrence text displays properly. Please let me know how this goes for you.
Also, I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They’re working on it but it’s a complex issue so I’m unsure how long it will take.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberMarc, one of our developers asked if you could please share (copy/paste) your server’s composer.json file to help us better understand the issue. They were also curious if you are using https://wpackagist.org/, which your composer.json file should reveal.
Please let us know.
January 19, 2017 at 10:21 pm in reply to: Is it possible to remove the custom taxonomy "event categories"? #1221364Cliff
MemberHi, Carsten.
This would require custom code (that we do not provide), but you might be able to use unregister_taxonomy() for the Tribe__Events__Main::TAXONOMY taxonomy.
Our plugin already allows assigning Events to Post Tags.
Please let me know if there’s anything more I can help with here.
Cliff
MemberHi, Brenda.
The Events page is actually a WordPress archive view, so there is no Page or Post ID there.
You could do this though:
body.post-type-archive-tribe_events .site-header, body.post-type-archive-tribe_events .site-footer { display: none; }Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberExcellent! Thanks for the update.
Have a great Friday!
Cliff
MemberThanks for the update, Eric.
You could reference our Themer’s Guide if you wanted to override Photo View or other templates to your liking. Or a filter may be available too.
I hope you get to the bottom of this. Feel free to open a new thread if you run into any future issues.
Have a good Friday. 🙂

MemberOne solution to this is to limit the purchase quantity to 1 ticket per checkout:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/5b57df71be8b52f595817ddbf81acdab
Or you could use Event Tickets Plus’ Attendee Meta fields to collect information per ticket. However, our plugin will not natively email a ticket if you go this route.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
Cliff
MemberThanks so much for your effort and update, John.
Have a great Friday!
January 19, 2017 at 9:59 pm in reply to: Do I need to buy Event Aggregator to replace Facebook Import? #1221348Cliff
MemberIf you import from 40 sources once per day, that will be 40 of your 100 limit, regardless of the number of events coming in from each source. 100 per day.
One of the benefits of the 100 imports is that you can use the 100 imports across multiple sites.
Please visit the bottom of the wp-admin > Events > Help screen, the Event Aggregator System Status section and send me the screenshot if there’s anything odd there.
Cliff
MemberThanks for the details.
Please provide the actual link you are visiting when you are seeing this error in your console at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

MemberThe Day View is part of our core plugin, and https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/translating-the-events-calendar/ includes this:
Translations for The Events Calendar are managed at http://translate.wordpress.org.
The Events Calendar’s specific project page is here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable
We do not manage or control the free The Events Calendar‘s translations.
Cliff
MemberThanks for confirming.
I’ve also passed along your HTTPS WordPress links to our developers to maybe do eventually.
Have a great Friday!
Cliff
MemberThanks for that detailed information.

We’ve noticed that Weekly and Daily recurrences only got migrated over partially. Yours is the first report of the issue with a Custom recurrence, but I’ve passed your report along to our developers handling this issue.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Cliff
MemberHi. Thanks for the link. Looking at the CSS, I realized the issue is from our plugin’s code.
The issue goes away when you add an Organizer.
Unfortunately, I do not have a quick CSS snippet to share with you to temporarily resolve the issue at this time.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
