A client of mine organizes sport events. Attendees can register on individual basis or register a team. In case of the latter, they should provide teammember info, including their email adresses, upon which each team member receives an email automatically saying they have been registered for a specific event by person [name], et cetera. Currently I have this up and running with Gravity Forms + Woocommerce. It works but still requires lots of Excel exports and manipulations to get a complete list that is used during the event. I’m looking for a more sophisticated/dedicated system. Not sure if you guys have a solutions for buying a ‘group-ticket’.
Kind regards,

Event Tickets Plus is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin.
Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.
You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.
Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.
Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.
The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.
Regarding “group tickets”, the Attendee Meta displays per ticket quantity. For example, if you ask each ticket their T-Shirt Size and you buy 7 tickets, the person buying 7 tickets would have to answer the T-Shirt Size question 7 times, even if all 7 are size Large.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
January 19, 2017 at 8:18 am #1220955TylerGuestI also have this exact same question regarding the emails for attendees of a group purchase, but I didn’t see an answer in this response. Is it possible for each attendee to receive an email that includes their ticket info and notification that they have been signed up/registered?
This is possible in Event Espresso, but hoping it is possible in this plugin as the integration is easier.
Any extra info will be appreciated.
January 19, 2017 at 10:03 pm #1221354CliffMemberOne solution to this is to limit the purchase quantity to 1 ticket per checkout:

Or you could use Event Tickets Plus’ Attendee Meta fields to collect information per ticket. However, our plugin will not natively email a ticket if you go this route.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
