MemberThanks for sharing your solution.
However, please note that anytime Events Calendar PRO plugin gets updated on your site, this change you made will be overwritten!
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Cliff
MemberSorry to say I’m unaware of anyone having already cracked this egg… Also note that if you make significant modifications/customizations, they may be incompatible with future versions of our software products.
Any other questions on this topic?
Cliff
MemberThanks for your detailed answer!
It looks good to me. Does it seem to work for your purposes?

MemberHi. Please note that we do not reply to threads on weekends, per our Scope of Support / Terms, which is why you didn’t receive a reply until now from your August 5 (Saturday) reply.
Regarding implementing the snippet…
Best practice for adding custom code (like to implement a PHP snippet to modify The Events Calendar) is to create a functionality plugin, unless it’s something specific to your theme, in which case best practice is to make sure you’re using a child theme<i>,</i> then add the customization to your child theme’s functions.php file.
(Do not include its initial “<?php” line)
This isn’t WPML-aware, nor does it by default support different text for different events. If you want this, you should probably add a new WordPress metabox to the Events post type and get that data and put it into the email.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Please let me know how this goes for you.
Cliff
MemberI’d suggest reporting the conflict to Enfold’s support. Usually “NaN” errors have something to do with JavaScript.
Please let us know what you find out from their support.

MemberGotcha. Thanks for clarifying.
I heard there may be an update for Event Aggregator this week. Of course, I can’t guarantee this, but please do patiently await the update. Hopefully for you and others it’ll solve a lot of issues! 🙂
Cliff
MemberI really appreciate your effort, but I can tell the code is malformed.
Additionally, there’s a bit more you’d need to do to accomplish what you’re wanting (e.g. targeting just a specific widget’s output).
You may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

MemberWe do not have an official SQL query to share. Searching our forums might provide some results, but they could be for a different application or outdated. Sorry I can’t be more help here specific to providing a SQL query, since each site’s database is unique.
Please let me know if you think there’s more I can help with at this time.

MemberThanks for your thorough reply.
I have seen this working better with some themes than with others. Sorry this didn’t work intuitively for your situation.
Cliff
MemberShawn, others have also reported similar things recently.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. (Although it’s expected to be released sometime this week.)
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHere’s a video comparing my test site with your site: https://cl.ly/0C0Z3R0N0Y3C
One thing I’d look into is how/why you don’t have the word “category” in your URL.
Please install the Rewrite Rules Inspector plugin (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us) and send me a screenshot of its analysis of http://www.slugmag.com/comics and then a 2nd one of http://www.slugmag.com/comics/page/2/
August 7, 2017 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Bug in Filter Bar: Category filter not working on mobile due to jQuery Chosen #1331848Cliff
MemberHi, Mister.
Filter Bar v4.5 included this change: The Select2 script replaces the Chosen script for drop-down and autocomplete filter types.
Please test it out and let me know how it goes for you.
If you come across any other issues, please create a new, separate thread.
Thanks! 🙂
Cliff
MemberYou betcha! 🙂
Have a great week.
Cliff
MemberSorry for the frustration.
To avoid further confusion, I’ve deactivated 7d4f6b1… (was expiring in a couple weeks) and extended your license for a32ac41… for 3 months.
This way, when you go to https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/, you should only have 1 active license for Event Aggregator.
The scheduled imports issue has been an on-again-off-again issue for quite some time. I believe there’s a release expected sometime next week that might help with it, but I can’t guarantee it’ll solve your issues because some of these fixes have worked for some customers’ sites but not for others’.
I’m not sure what honesty you’re looking for; I’ve tried to share all relevant information each time I’ve replied. If there are specific instances you can point to, please do so to help us improve.
Aiming to help resolve your issue of EA’s import options being grayed out, please de-register all your sites with your active EA license — both remove from your wp-admin settings and also from our site’s registered sites — then re-register your site in wp-admin and see if it also registers on our site (“fully connected” for lack of a better term).
It’s your choice when to reply; no rush on my end. Please note that threads get Closed automatically after a couple weeks of inactivity. If it does get Closed, please open a new thread, adding your current problem description and also linking back to this thread.
Thank you!

MemberHi, Lyslynn. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
