MemberThank you. Another user reported this issue with Divi theme, but you’re not using Divi theme.
Could you please send me a link to the page where the map view shortcode is in use?
Please also send a copy of the latest version of the builder plugin .zip file (in a Private Reply if you choose).

MemberDavid / Ruben,
This is great to hear. Thanks so much. I’ve let George know, and we expect this fix to be released in the near-term (estimated guess of 3-6 weeks — of course no guarantees, since we normally do not provide ETAs).
This thread will receive a reply to let you know once the fix is released so that you don’t need to implement the fix manually anymore.
Thanks! 🙂
Cliff
MemberI’m glad things are okay now. 🙂
For your additional question, we’d be glad to help but we always want to keep each thread to a single question.
Therefore, please create a new thread with that same question but also include a screenshot and/or link so we can see exactly where you’re wanting this change.
Thanks! 🙂

MemberGot it. Thanks for confirming.
Could you please setup a staging site that is in Testing for Conflicts Mode and provide me a login (in a Private Reply)?
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site, but especially for this scenario because I’ll need to click around and try out various settings (i.e. make changes) to see exactly what’s happening. It’s very important this is a site that is not your main site (i.e. staging, development, etc.)
Thank you.

MemberBest practice for adding custom code is to create a functionality plugin, unless it’s something specific to your theme, in which case best practice is to make sure you’re using a child theme<i>,</i> then add the customization to your child theme’s functions.php file.
Putting in your functions.php file is A-OK for initial testing if the snippet is working, too.
If you copy the code, make sure to not copy the initial <?php into your functions.php file (assuming you’re just adding it into an existing functions.php file).
Also make sure you put it in the functions.php file of your active theme (preferrably child theme). Or just move it all into a plugin from the start; that way you can activate/deactivate it at any time.

MemberHi, Paul. Sorry you experienced this.
We don’t have a big red button to nuke your The Events Calendar events, organizers, and/or venues data.
That being said, you could possibly craft some custom code to do so via PHP. Let me know if you have the skill to go this route and need any help along the way. I doubt it’d be something comprehensive or perfect, but I’d be willing to try to help you avoid any major gotchas (although we couldn’t provide any guarantees, and, of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site).
We had users reporting duplicate imports but that issue should have been fixed already.
Are you currently experiencing this issue now or was it from the previous week or month or so?

MemberHi, Martin. The content of the QR code generated by Event Tickets’ email is simply a URL that, when scanned, checks in the attendee.
There’s no way to add this additional information and still utilize the QR codes as intended.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, again, THor. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Could you please share your System Information in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

MemberHi, Thor. Sorry for the frustrations you’ve experienced.
Google Maps sets the API limitations. Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/#using-your-key
Sorry if I’m not fully understanding the situation… I’m not sure why you’d think having a separate button would be different than using The Events Calendar’s Google Maps attempt to geolocate based on the entered address.
Please let me know your thoughts on this issue. If you’re experiencing a Google Maps console error at your site, please share the exact message(s) you’re seeing and at which URL(s).
Thank you.

MemberHi, Ellen. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I see your EA license is connected to the opengatemediadraft2.com site
Please go to https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and disconnect this site from the EA license.
Then, please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses and remove the license, save, refresh, make sure the EA license field is blank and the site isn’t connected at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/, and then re-enter the license.
If it still will not work, I’ll issue you a new license.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

September 26, 2017 at 7:01 pm in reply to: Plugin affecting memory-unable to edit pages, posts or theme customizations #1355310Cliff
MemberHi, Jennafer. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>I see you’re on the latest versions, which is great.</span>
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
