September 21, 2015 at 9:32 am in reply to: New Events Calendar PRO won't activate, says core is not updated (but it is) #1007093Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues. I can help out.
The screenshot is very helpful thank you.
It looks like the The Events Calendar (Updated) is a forked version of our plugin as it is 4.0.0 and we are only on 3.12.1.
The current version of the Events Calendar is on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
And you can follow these steps to manually update:
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for missing the issue.
I tested on our patched version and the times are correctly created now, but the 3rd recurring series with the time change does not link correctly still so I am sending it back to our developers.
To fix this today I would create three different recurring events for each day of the week so you have the events live and the links working until we can get a patch released for this.
Sorry again for the issues here and we are working on a fix.
Thanks
Brian

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
We currently do not offer any license to bundle our premium products in themes. That could change in the future, but it is not on our roadmap.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues and thanks for reporting them.
I have added you to our bug ticket and we will update this ticket when we release a fix.
It has just been added into our system so it is not in the next release yet, but enough users have reported it that the support team will push to get it in there.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
September 21, 2015 at 8:27 am in reply to: Back link from Photo View returns to default view #1007049Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
If you have the list view and as your default the All Events link will always take you back to the default view.
It does not have a way to determine where you came from and send you back to that view.
So you will have to add /photo/ if you always want to send people back to the photo view and it is not the default view.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
I can help out here.
We have the Community Event Plugin for Front End Editing.
It does not work as you describe though as it creates a form you can use to create events.
You can read about how it works here:
Please not it only requires the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ and does not require Pro to work.
Also, out of the box if you are logged in and your theme does not remove the admin bar you can click edit in the bar when viewing any single event.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
The CSV importer as you mention uses the name of the venue to match to an existing venue.
It does not have another way to detect the correct venue to use. So it will just find the first name and use that if duplicate names.
You could as you said add the city and state in the name or you could another method to make the name unique for each location.
Beyond that it would take modifying the core plugin files to change how this works.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the frustration with our development process.
It is something we find frustrating ourselves and we are working on improving it to be able to get features out faster.
The 3.10 release took 6 months, yet the last two releases we did in less then 2 months each and all include new features so we are improving the process.
The ticket plugins are all being redesigned and updated for the 4.0 release(next release) to make it easier to add new features especially the custom user meta so they were delayed to do that unfortunately.
And because they are all being redesigned we do not have any coding to release in any form.
Sorry again to disappoint today, hopefully in the next releases we can show you we have turned the corner in your development cycles and able to add new features quicker.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
September 21, 2015 at 8:03 am in reply to: Problems with the editor in wordpress (visual mode) #1007034Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
What you are describing with the coding being stripped is part of the WordPress Visual Editor’s features to prevent scripts from being included in the editor.
Since we use the default settings from WordPress that is why the Events Visual Editor does that.
I found this coding that might help:
But beyond that we are limited in providing coding to modify default WordPress behavior.
However, I can try to answer a question or two about it.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot them with you.
I visited your site and see what you mean.
Do you have any custom templates in your theme in this directory:
/tribe-events/?
Also, what is your setting here:
Events > Settings > Display Tab > “Date time separator”
Events > Settings > Display Tab > “Time range separator”
Let me know and we can go from here.
Thanks
