I can confirm that I had the same problem as shown here:

HTML shows as text

And that the fix shown here:

HTML shows as text

did work.

This is a problem that I believe just happened with 3.12. A user reported it – I have a custom field that takes a URL. This fix did solve the problem; however, I never had the problem before. Will there be a fix forthcoming in 3.13?

Sorry for the issues and thanks for reporting them.

I have added you to our bug ticket and we will update this ticket when we release a fix.

It has just been added into our system so it is not in the next release yet, but enough users have reported it that the support team will push to get it in there.
