October 19, 2015 at 8:39 am in reply to: Recurring events not creating tickets for each event. #1015845
Brian
MemberHi Matt,
Thanks for using our plugins.
Sorry if you missed this, but on the Product Page we state:
“Please note that right now, recurring events are not supported with tickets, and attempting to set up tickets on a recurrence pattern will not work.”
And on the Individual Ticket Creation we state:
Currently, WooTickets will only show up on the frontend once per full event. For PRO users this means the same ticket will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.
So for now we have no features or coding to create individual tickets for recurring events it only creates a ticket that is used for all events in the series.
If you missed that and is an essential feature please you can request a refund following our policy outlined here:
And we can take care of it. Thanks
Brian
MemberHello Sarah and Jesper J Nohr
Thanks for using our plugins I can help out here.
The Enfold theme itself includes customizations that can be creating this issue.
We do have this guide to moving the ticket form
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-ticket-form/
Does that help?
October 19, 2015 at 8:27 am in reply to: Can buddypress members be granted access to create events? #1015839Brian
MemberHi Mark,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
We have Community Events add on that creates a front end form to create events.
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
That will give users the ability to create events and edit them.
It does create events only for a central calendar created by the Events Calendar.
There are no features to connect directly into BuddyPress and that would have to be done by another developer.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
October 19, 2015 at 8:25 am in reply to: Control visibility of Event Category for logged in Users #1015838Brian
MemberHi benmhope,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can answer your questions. We do not have built in features to do as you describe.
However, Abigail’s solution might work for you (thanks for sharing 🙂 )
You can make events private and then roles that see private events would be able to view them and other roles or if someone is not logged in they would not be able to see the event.
If you need something more specific it would have to be done with a customization.
I can try to answering some specific questions to get you started on a customization such as this, but it is beyond the support I can provide to do much more than that.
I can tell you that the main event views (month, list, map, etc) are archives and we have these conditionals to target them:
https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/2415009
And we have our themer’s guide for editing any of the events templates:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
The plugin does create a Category View for each Event Category with the main views of month, list, map, etc…
For example if you have an event category of Lettuce the url is this:
yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/
So that is one way to show only events from one category in the main views and you can link directly to any of those.
So you could create two different categories and link to those.
Beyond that we do not have any coding to provide for a customization like this, but I can try to help you get started.
Let me know.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
I can take care of this, but yep we are having issues with our translation site. I am creating a ticket for us to address this ASAP.
Then you can register and I can make you a validator.
Thanks

October 19, 2015 at 8:06 am in reply to: 404 pages for venue and organizers after translation #1015827Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
There is a new bug that prevents translated slugs from working if they do not use standard UT8 characters.
I have a ticket in the system to address this, but do not have a timeline when that might happen.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
October 19, 2015 at 8:01 am in reply to: Community Events Not Working – Returning users to home page #1015825Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.
AS a first step can you resave permalinks and see if that helps:
Admin > Settings > PermaLinks > Save
After that if it is not working please follow our testing for conflicts guide:
And see if that can narrow down the cause of this.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks

October 19, 2015 at 7:47 am in reply to: How to move Eventbrite tickets from sidebar to the post body? #1015810Brian
MemberOh my bad I was getting ready for the weekend.
Here is some hooks from the single template:
tribe_events_single_event_before_the_content
tribe_events_single_event_before_the_meta
tribe_events_single_event_after_the_meta
You can also try changing the priority of the hook too.
You can find more hooks on the single template itself:
plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php
October 19, 2015 at 7:44 am in reply to: Event Submission overwriting bottom Widget in Theme #1015809Brian
MemberHi,
What is the name of the widget that is doing this and can you list all the settings?
I will take a look after that information and look at the coding, but after that I am not able to continue on theme compatibility issues per our term and conditions.
October 19, 2015 at 7:35 am in reply to: Latest .4 release has No Results Found on home page #1015807Brian
MemberHi,
We are looking into this issue, but changes to the recurring event system has created some issues here and we are not sure what the issue is.
Part of the issue is trying to order posts and events together when they use two different order systems and then throwing in removing recurring events seems to be the wildcard that breaks it.
We are working on a solution, but I do not have a timeline for it.
If you need this resolved right away I recommend downgrading to 3.11 for now.
You can download the older versions from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and older versions of the core plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/
And follow these steps for a manual update.
Thanks
October 19, 2015 at 7:19 am in reply to: Conflict between The Events Calendar PRO & Community Events #1015800Brian
MemberHi,
I was able to see the form and make changes to the event date and time without issue.
What specific issues are you having?
As I am not sure what you are seeing.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
What are the settings for the recurring events you created?
And if you end one of the recurrences and create a brand new one to start today does that prevent the error?
Otherwise a database can be uploaded to dropbox and you could share the link in a private reply.
Thanks
