Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.
What you describe is doable, but not something we have any resources to really help with.
Even as a customer we can try to help answer a couple questions to get you started on a customization, but for the most part that is all we are able to do.
One thing to look at might be Cliff;s plugin here:
The coding there might get you closer to what you are looking for. The other thing to look at would be WooCommerce shortcodes that could be used to display add to cart buttons for tickets if you use WooCommerce.
Cheers

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
I took a look at your site and see what you mean.
it looks like you have old custom templates in your theme that are causing the issue.
Please remove the templates from the tribe-events folder in your theme and that should at least bring the events back up.
Let me know how that works out.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.
Unfortunately, we do not have any features to do as you describe. It might be possible with a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
Cheers

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
That is an interesting request, but not a feature we currently have in the plugin.
If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
We do not have shortcodes for the main views of Month, List, Map, etc.
We have shortcodes for all our widgets:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
You can use those shortcodes or widgets to display events anywhere on your site that accepts them.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar.
Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.
Having said that you could look up the User Role Editor plugin and make sure the Contributor role does not have these capabilities checked:
read_private_tribe_events
read_private_tribe_organizers
read_private_tribe_venuesThanks again!
January 28, 2016 at 6:50 pm in reply to: Custom fields are hidden. Is it possible to declare them public? #1064100Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.
Unfortunately, there is not way around this as it would require renaming all the custom fields.
The only way to do that would be to fork the plugin and rename them and not use the opening underline.
That is about all we have for this issue.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
I have created a license for you for Events Tickets Plus.
Let me know if you do not see it in your account now.
Also, we have this guide to transition:

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues here. I can work with you to resolve this.
If you updated The Events Calendar to 4.0 and leave Community Events at 3.12.x or earlier it will break the site. If you cannot update Community Events for whatever reason you should remain on 3.12.6 for the Events Calendar and follow the steps below to set that up.
Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to access the files of you site and delete the older version of Community Events. This process itself does not delete or change any of your settings in the database.
This can be done by either your hosting account file manager or through ftp. The files will be found here:
wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/
Please make sure to remove all copies of Community Events.
That will bring your site back and then you can download the latest version of Community Events (4.0) from your account here and manually upload it to your site.
We also have this guide for manual updates:
If you need your site right away with community events I recommended downgrading to the 3.12.x for all the plugins.
You can download the older versions from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and older versions of the core plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/
And follow these steps for manual updates:
If you have issues please let me know and I can help out.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the conflict, not sure about a replacement I have no used any plugins like that before.
You could try using the Plugin Logic to disable other plugins on the event views:
That is one work around or you could try contacting the plugin author and see if they have any resources to help out.
We can try to meet in the middle with them, but we are limited in supporting plugin compatibility.
Thanks
January 28, 2016 at 6:38 pm in reply to: Custom CSS doesn't work when viewing next/previous months #1064093Brian
MemberSo not sure why this is the case, but the tribe_events class is not included in the events class after the ajax call so that is why the css is not working there.
I got this to work instead:
.tribe-events-calendar .type-tribe_events:not(.tribe-recurring-event) {
background: #f4d575 none repeat scroll 0 0;
}Does that work for you as well?
Brian
MemberYou’re welcome, I am going to go ahead and close this ticket, but if you need help on this or something else please post a new ticket.
Thanks!
