    Hello!
I would like to reuse the Events Calendar custom fields listed here (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-post-meta-data/) in a 3rd party plugin (WP-Types). The WP-Types support-team wrote this:

I know that this is a bit frustrating for you but there isn’t much we can do 🙁 If the custom fields of a plugin are hidden then they won’t be available to our Types plugin to take control.

Our views plugin is able to display the information of these hidden fields via the use of the hidden field settings but our Types plugin does not have such a setting.

We can only take control of fields that are declared as public and not hidden.

Is it possible to declare hidden custom fields as public in the PRO version? Or even in the free Calendar?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.

Unfortunately, there is not way around this as it would require renaming all the custom fields.

The only way to do that would be to fork the plugin and rename them and not use the opening underline.

That is about all we have for this issue.

    Thanks
