Contributors seeing private events

Is there a way to set the calendar so that contributors – not just authors and admins – can view private events? I really don’t want most of my staff having author privileges, it would be a huge mess, but it’s a problem that they can’t see private events and we’re having accidental schedule conflicts.

Having said that you could look up the User Role Editor plugin and make sure the Contributor role does not have these capabilities checked:

read_private_tribe_events
read_private_tribe_organizers
read_private_tribe_venues
