ParticipantHi, samarainfocenter. We’re very sorry to hear it’s come to that, but we understand.
We handle all of our refund request by email. Please shoot us message at pro /at/ tri.be with your receipt and a link to this or your other threads.
Best of luck to you with your site!

ParticipantHi, Erin. Our developer thinks there may be something deeper going on, but we’re having a hard time duplicating the situation in our test environment. Would you mind if we downloaded your database for our testing purposes? That’s just about the only way we can get to the bottom of this without disturbing your production site.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, volpagirl. It sounds like we’re going to need to do a bit more troubleshooting with you to help get things sorted out.
If you don’t mind, please start a new forum thread and feel free to reference this one. We can then take things from there.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, volpagirl. The System Information is a detailed specification of whatโs running on your site for our troubleshooting purposes.
To find it, click on โEventsโ in the left sidebar of the Admin interface. In the subheadings under โEventsโ, you should now see โHelpโ. Click on that, and scroll to the bottom of the page that is takes you to. There, youโll see a box with a black background. Please copy all of the text there and paste it in a reply to this thread.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, auburnmassdaily. Great question! ๐
Have you tried keeping the Default Template at the Page one, and changing the Default view to Month? It would look something like this: http://d.pr/i/tluv
Please give that a go and let me know if it helps! ๐

ParticipantThanks for the suggestion, Andy!
Jan, thanks for the note. I think this is the post you’re referring to: https://theeventscalendar.com/non-profits/. If so, you’re welcome to get in touch with the individual non-profits and ask them about their customizations. Unfortunately, it’s not something that we can help you with, but I would guess that their developers could!
Also, I’d definitely encourage you to check out Andy’s great plugin. That’s likely to be the simplest solution. Please give it a try and let us know how it goes for you! ๐

ParticipantThanks for checking, Erin. I do see what you’re talking about. Let me do a little digging and get back to you.
Happy holidays!

ParticipantHi, Yvette. Sorry to hear you’re having this issue.
Would you mind starting a separate thread so that we can more effectively troubleshoot your situation? Thanks so much!

ParticipantHi, hannes. Thanks for getting in touch.
Please start a new thread with your issue so that we can better help you troubleshoot. It would be great if you would include the URLs of any threads that you feel are pertinent to your situation, too.
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHi, Kim. Great question! ๐
Please understand that because this is a customization rather than a troubleshooting issue we can only provide limited support. We do have a tutorial that will help you change the heading on the calendar views that include the word “events”: https://theeventscalendar.com/altering-or-removing-headings-on-calendar-views/. You can also change the slugs for the calendar events in the Settings page on the admin screens of your site. That should get rid of the word “events”.
As for changing “tickets”, I’m not certain where you would need to go for that, but I’m sure that it would be a large undertaking as that word is used through many different files. It’s possible that you could do something with a translation, but I’m not really an expert on that. I’d encourage you to check out our docs and Themer’s Guide, linked under Useful Resources in the sidebar. It may be that you can get some help in the translation forum, too.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, Martin. Great question! ๐
I haven’t heard of this before, but it certainly does look odd. Let me do some research and get back to you.
Thanks!
