ParticipantI have exhausted the limit of my knowledge (not hard to do). All I really want to do is use my site’s header and footer on the calendar page auburnmassdaily.com/events. When I set my default view to “Default Page” in the EventPro settings, I basically get what I want, except events are in a list form and I want them to default to a month view. When I choose the Events Page Default, I get the month view, but the formatting is not very attractive and the header and footer are not there.
It seems I am pretty close using my Default Page in the Events Calendar settings, rather than getting into customizing stylesheets which I know nothing about. Any help would be appreciated.

ParticipantHi, auburnmassdaily. Great question! 🙂
Have you tried keeping the Default Template at the Page one, and changing the Default view to Month? It would look something like this: http://d.pr/i/tluv
Please give that a go and let me know if it helps! 🙂

ParticipantI did try that, and so close but so far away. What I end up with is almost exactly what I want, except I am getting a list view instead of the month view, even though I have the default set to “Month” in the settings. Here’s what I’m looking at. http://auburnmassdaily.com/events/
This layout is the same as my theme is using for my Archives pages (not my default page). I am leaning toward this being something with my theme, not with Events Calendar. But I don’t know enough to go into the code and change whatever needs to be changed. 🙁December 4, 2013 at 5:46 pm #80248Kelly
ParticipantHi, auburnmassdaily. THanks for the detailed response.
Based on how your calendar displaying, I think it has to do with the settings you have chosen. Would you mind ensuring that you have the Month View enabled on the Display tab of the Events Calendar Settings? I’m not even able to navigate to it manually, so I think that may be the issue.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks Kelly, yes, I do have the Month View checked. Further, if I select the Default Page View instead of the Tribe Events Page View, in addition to only seeing a list view, when you click on a specific event it is not displaying venue or organizer info. I had this working with a previous theme (we did a redesign earlier this month), so this has to have something to do with a conflict between my theme and Events Calendar, just wish I could pinpoint what, exactly. Thanks for your continued help!

ParticipantHi, auburnmassdaily. This sounds really frustrating, especially since it was working previously.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure how much more help I can be. Ultimatum is a particular type of theme with a fairly unique structure, and we don’t have the expertise to offer specific help with it. We are aware integration has been tricky for at least a couple of users. If we continue to see demand for integrating Ultimatum, we’ll look into developing some tutorials, but that that isn’t something that can happen in the short term.
Your best bet is probably to go back to your theme developer for guidance. Our technical documentation, linked in the sidebar, should be helpful. We’re also happy to answer any questions that come up along the way. 🙂
