At this time, the iCal and Google Calendar links are static files that are downloaded to your computer, not a URL for a calendar feed. We have had requests for the feed functionality in the past, and if this is something you’d be interested in, we’d welcome you adding your vote here:Â https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5568866-ical-feed-for-events-calendar

Hi, lvnilesh. You are correct.
What is different in 3.5 is that we added the infrastructure to allow for choosing what does and does not get passed to EB by use of hooks and filters. We didn’t want to change the entire plugin when it works correctly for most users. If you put the snippet in your tribe-events folder in a child theme (as described in the Themer’s Guide linked in the sidebar), you won’t have to worry about it being overwritten in the future.

Hi, jeataylor. I definitely understand your position on this. Our experience is that many users expect to view all events in that situation.
If you’re lobbying for the behavior to change quickly, your best bet is to encourage other users on User Voice to vote for your suggestion. If there’s a clear consensus from the community, it’ll make it easier to advocate for prioritizing the change.

Hi, guglielmoa. Unfortunately, as I mentioned about, this is not something that we advocate or support, so I don’t have the answers to all your questions. If you feel like you’re up to the task, by all means, give it a go. You’re welcome to let us know if you hit stumbling blocks along the way, and we can see about getting them answered, but this is not a recommended implementation of the plugin.

I’m very sorry to report that, unfortunately, things are basically where we left them in November. While we do have this logged in our ticketing system as a requested feature, we have not been able to fit it into this upcoming maintenance release.
If this is something that you’re looking to see make it into the plugin sooner rather than later, it would be helpful for us if you could suggest it on our UserVoice forum. New features are prioritized based on the response they receive from the community there.

At this time we do not provide shortcodes or any other way to facilitate this, but we’d certainly welcome any feature requests you might post (or add your support to a suitable existing request).
If you decide that this is something that you would like to pursue on your own, be away that you would not only need to include the page elements, but you would additionally need to take care of enqueuing all of the assets that Map View depends upon – so, at this time, we deem this as an advanced customization that we can’t offer a lot of support for.

You’re definitely not the first user to bring up how useful this feature would be. In fact, this thread from last month points to a feature suggestion at our User Voice forum that requests it. It also refers to how you can create a role that would allow for the minimum possible user privileges for users doing the check-in, in case that’s useful.
We prioritize feature requests based on the response they receive there, so your best bet is to make your voice heard on UserVoice. Sorry I don’t have a more immediate solution for you.

I definitely see that the Events page does not show a breadcrumb or title the way other pages do on your site. As this is specific to your theme, your best bet would probably be to seek help from Elegant Themes. If they have questions for us, please feel free to pass those along in this thread. First, let me just say that I love the way you’ve integrated TEC within your site. It looks great!
As far as the duplicating Organizers and Venues goes, that sounds really frustrating. The plugin does run checks to try to prevent it from duplicating existing data. Is is possible that you’re using multiple Eventbrite accounts/API keys when importing? That could lead to duplication.
If not, would you mind sending me some examples of the events on EB and your site that are causing the duplicates? It should be easier to narrow down the cause if we can replicate the behavior on our test-beds.

We’re happy to help with your issue. Did you have a chance to change your theme to one of the default WP ones like Twenty Twelve while you had other plugins deactivated? If so, did that change the behavior?
Also, would it be possible for us to see your site? It’s very helpful in troubleshooting if we can check out what’s going on firsthand.
