I’m trying to figure out just how the iCal links work in The Events Calendar PRO. When someone clicks an iCal link, does it just download an .ics file containing all the Events that are currently published? Or does it subscribe them to a feed, so that subsequently-created Events also show up in their Google Calendar or other calendaring app? I ask because I would prefer the latter.

    Hi, Yoni. Great question! 🙂

At this time, the iCal and Google Calendar links are static files that are downloaded to your computer, not a URL for a calendar feed. We have had requests for the feed functionality in the past, and if this is something you’d be interested in, we’d welcome you adding your vote here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5568866-ical-feed-for-events-calendar

    Thanks!
