MemberHi Ryan – you should see a button just above the table listing the attendees marked Email and clicking on it should bring up a dialog to determine where the list should be sent to. You can see both the button and dialog in this screenshot … does that help at all?

MemberHi tix4locals, so this seems close/identical to this thread which you also created.
In this case (based on the content of the other thread) it is currently sounding like the problem may be the compatibility of WooCommerce with your theme or with some other plugin and you would need to pursue that issue with WooThemes themselves (or with the vendor of your theme/whichever plugin is conflicting).
We can in any case keep the conversation going in the active thread I linked to above – and so I will now close this one.

MemberSo let’s look at list view first of all.
- Please grab this snippet and add it to your theme’s functions.php file
- Please also add this snippet to the same place
- Note that if you have already added these (perhaps from following advice in a different thread) you should not add them a second time
- You then need to add a further piece of code that leverages the above functions and figures out A) if the event has any tickets and B) if there is no inventory available and then C) adds an appropriate message. Here is a basic example that you would also add to functions.php
Does that help here?

MemberI would see that as a feature request. I’d definitely be curious to see how many others would want this, though. Could you post a brief summary and your use-case over on our UserVoice page?
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
That also means others can comment on and endorse or otherwise show their support for the idea, which gives us a good gauge as to how much demand there is. (Indeed, you may find there is an existing issue for this on UserVoice – in which case just add your own comments in support.)
Thanks!

MemberThanks for the tip, Rodney!

MemberHi Dave. What I’m seeing on your page is the following error:
Warning: you have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
And you do seem to have a Google Map incorporated further down the page (within your sidebar). This limitation comes from Google Maps itself; a possible workaround may be to use a static (non-interactive) version of the map in your sidebar, or else a map from a different service such as Bing Maps.
Another thought is that you could investigate using a plugin like Widget Logic to include/exclude that particular widget so that it is only used on pages other than single events.
Does that help at all?

MemberHi Matt, noted!
Right now our immediate focus is on bug fixes for our core products, so a number of maintenance releases may very well pass before we can consider this I’m afraid – however that won’t necessarily be a long time.
I do appreciate you taking the time to add your voice to this thread though and have highlighted on our issue tracker that this feature is of interest to many of you.
Thanks!

MemberSo it sounds to me as if the stumbling block here is WooCommerce itself, is that correct – and if so have you tried asking for help from WooThemes (since that is their product)?
Barry
MemberHi Flavia, looks like Jessica’s sorted you out with a possible solution. As Rob noted please let us know if you have further problems on this front, otherwise I’ll wait a few days and then close out this thread.
Thanks!

MemberYou’re right that we don’t officially support third party themes but we do normally make an effort to help with things like this even so … however, there are a number of themes/theme frameworks (I’m afraid including Roots) which are harder for us to work with because of their atypical structure.
Theme without header.php is deprecated since version 3.0 with no alternative available. Please include a header.php template in your theme.
Probably Roots has no header.php template (which is expected to be present) … you’ll be in a better position to check that out than I am 🙂
However, the fact that this notice is being generated makes me wonder if in Events > Settings > Display you are using the Default Events Template? Changing this to the Default Page Template may solve this particular problem, though it may not do anything to fix the original problem with the menu and the active item being highlighted.
Barry
MemberNo problem, glad you found the culprit 🙂

MemberCommunity Events is a plugin we sell, so you could visit the plugin admin screen and take a peek there and see if it is listed.
When I created a new event it works perfectly fine. A site such as ours offers a community calendar, so the problem currently is that we have no way to allow users to submit their own content, and thus, are missing out on helping them publicize their events.
So if I’m understanding you correctly the problem is only when users submit their own events and that that process is being facilitated by your own custom (Gravity Forms-based) submission process?
If so I’m afraid we can’t really help you with this and it would tend to indicate that the problem is with the custom code.

MemberI don’t want to sound rude, but you’re talking over my head. What I want is simple. I want the ability to embed the ticket on a page on the website so people can buy from that page and I want the ticketing on the actual events page to look like it does on your tutorial videos.
That doesn’t sound rude at all and I’m sorry if my answer went over your head.
I’m not sure if you still need help embedding tickets on other pages (it sounds like you may have arrived at a solution by using the add_to_cart shortcode) but if you do please just post back with details.
Regarding making ticketing look just like it does on our tutorial videos, are you referring to the fact that the plus/minus symbols to choose a ticket quantity are displaced? If so can you try adding this code to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet or else to your custom tribe-events.css stylesheet (details for setting that up are in our Themer’s Guide – link over on the right under Useful Resources).
As far as creating threads, I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Sorry for any confusion.
What I’m referring to when I talk of a “thread” is a discussion on the forum like this one. Ideally, separate problems should go in separate “threads” or “discussions” which you can create by clicking on the blue New Discussion button.
I still need to figure out the problems with the events page and would appreciate any tips on placing the shortcodes so they look right.
So if you are having problems working with and styling the appearance of the add_to_cart shortcode’s output then you would really need to take your questions across to the fine support team at WooThemes, since that relates to their product rather than ours.

MemberHi hc2ca:
We use gravity forms for folks to submit events to us, so I checked those boxes as well to see if that would work; nothing doing.
So you are not in fact using Community Events?
Can you confirm what happens if you create a new event (not through your Gravity Form process, just by visiting Events > Add New) and save it as a draft? Is that item accessible?
Barry
MemberNot at all, sorry we can’t do more right now.
