Duncan
Participantand my image that I had as part of my Events Countdown has disapeared? Any idea where it’s gone as I was quite fond of it and would like it back. 🙂

ParticipantOk think I’ve found a solution as this isn’t the first time it’s happened to me, seems after every update I need to do this but manage to forget how!
Right here’s the solution, well it normally is. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/next-event-widget-no-longer-showing-full-event-details/
but I can’t find the widget-featured-display.php file that would normally be located after the /views folder?

MemberHi Duncan,
There is no longer a Next Event widget – that was removed in 3.0 as people can simply use the events list widget and set the number to display to 1.
Due to that, customizations previously targeting the next event widget may not carry over here. Have you checked out our revised themer’s guide?

I can’t seem to find the relevant URL, can you provide one and post this in a new thread to avoid confusion?
Thanks!

ParticipantTo show the full details of the event on the front page place this php code ‘the_content();’ where you want to appear in your customised ‘list-widget.php’ page in the /your theme/tribe-events/widget/ folder. In the widget control panel for ‘Events List’ widget choose 1 for the number of events.

ParticipantI’m seriously unhappy about this, I had everything set up as I wanted with my little image for each event, I had the lay out of my upcoming events perfect now it looks crap..
Can I reinstall events-calendar-pro.2.0.10 would that give me back what I had before?
🙁

MemberIf you have a complete backup then yes you could restore it to exactly the same point as it was before – we have an FAQ that could give you some guidance here: https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/help-i-upgraded-but-its-causing-me-problems-how-can-i-downgrade-to-a-pre-3-0-version/
Is there any other way we can help without you having to do that – what are you trying to achieve? I was slightly puzzled as your first post mentioned a little image next to the event countdown, however the event countdown is a new widget as of 3.0.

MemberOK, definitely let us know if we can help in any other way. If I’m understanding you though you don’t need further help on this issue at this time, and so I will close the thread (simply create a new one if you require it).
